Physical Properties of Ba0.95Pb0.05TiO3+0.1%Co2O3

2012

The single-phase perovskite structure of the Ba0.95Pb0.05TiO3+0.1%Co2O3 ceramics was confirmed by the X-ray diffraction method. Microstructural studies revealed that the samples were of good quality and chemically homogeneous. The thermal behaviour of ceramics was studied using the in situ high-temperature X-ray synchrotron powder diffraction investigation. The energy gap of about 3.2 eV was estimated using a reflectance spectroscopy. Measurements showed the influence of Pb and Co on the character of phase transition in the BaTiO3 structure. The results were compared to the ones obtained for pure BaTiO3.

Debye temperatures T D of some perovskite compounds are determined by X-ray diffraction. Correlation between T D determined at T=180 °C, mean square displacements of atoms, quasi-elastic coupling, and melting temperature of the perovskite compounds is analysed.

Ferroelastic Fingerprints in Methylammonium Lead Iodide Perovskite

Methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) perovskite shows an outstanding performance in photovoltaic devices. However, certain material properties, especially the possible ferroic behavior, remain unclear. We observed distinct nanoscale periodic domains in the piezoresponse of MAPbI3(Cl) grains. The structure and the orientation of these striped domains indicate ferroelasticity as their origin. By correlating vertical and lateral piezoresponse force microscopy experiments performed at different sample orientations with X-ray diffraction, the preferred domain orientation is suggested to be the a1–a2-phase. Digitālās kolekcijas "Raduraksti" lietojamības novērtējums

Maģistra darbā veikts padziļināts Latvijas Valsts vēstures arhīva veidotās digitālās kolekcijas “Raduraksti” lietojamības pētījums. Tā mērķis bija noskaidrot lietotāju viedokli par tās izmantošanas ērtumu. Empīriskā pētījuma dati iegūti veicot digitālo kolekciju kontentanalīzi, arhīva ekspertes intervēšanu, pielietojot verbālo protokolu un anketēšanu noskaidrots lietotāju viedoklis. Kontentanalīzes kategoriju un kritēriju izveidošanai pielietotas Informācijas sistēmas veiksmes modeļa un Mijiedarbības triptiha modeļa atziņas. Direct Methane Oxidation on La1-xSrxCr1-yFeyO3-δ perovskite-type oxides as Potential Anode for Intermediate Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Abstract La1−xSrxCr1−yFeyO3−δ (x = 0, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2; y = 0, 0.3, 0.5) perovskite-type oxide powders were synthesized by solution combustion synthesis and characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and H2-temperature programmed reduction. Selected compositions were studied by CH4-temperature programmed reduction in the absence and in the presence of H2S. Temperature programmed oxidation and structural characterizations were performed in order to discriminate the nature of residual deposits on the catalyst surface.
