Does the digitalization of retailing disrupt consumers’ attachment to retail places?

This study breaks new ground in the marketing domain by extending the concept of place attachment to the study of the online retail environment. We provide empirical evidence that consumers can establish strong attachments not only with traditional offline places but also with online retail stores. Moreover, we assessed how distinct dimensions of the place affect the formation of consumers’ attachment and their behavioral loyalty. Study of smartphone suitability for mapping of skin chromophores.

RGB (red-green-blue) technique for mapping skin chromophores by smartphones is proposed and studied. Three smartphones of different manufacturers were tested on skin phantoms and in vivo on benign skin lesions using a specially designed light source for illumination. Hemoglobin and melanin indices obtained by these smartphones showed differences in both tests. In vitro tests showed an increment of hemoglobin and melanin indices with the concentration of chromophores in phantoms. In vivo tests indicated higher hemoglobin index in hemangiomas than in nevi and healthy skin, and nevi showed higher melanin index compared to the healthy skin. Abstract Glyphosate and other polar and acidic pesticides have been particularly studied due to the concerns over widespread and intensive use. The chemical properties of these compounds necessitate use of customised methods, such as derivatisation or ion exchange chromatography. Contamination of barley by moulds and mycotoxins results in quality and nutritional losses and represents a significant hazard to the food chain. Beginning in December 2011, CISO has promoted a monitoring project for Red kite’s wintering population in Italy. This paper shows the results of the first five survey seasons, ie from December 2011 to January 2016. The censuses, always done at sunset, covered the eleven Central-Southern regions for which winter roosts were already known. The number of actual kites censuses each winter varied between about 1500 and over 1700 individuals, with strong oscillations for single roosts. The population is mainly concentrated in Basilicata with more than 64% of the entire winter population. Odontogenic keratocysts (OKCs) are developmental odontogenic cysts affecting the maxillofacial region and their association with a syndrome especially Naevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCCS) is a common occurrence in comparison to non syndromic multiple OKCs. In a first, we present a series of four non syndromic cases with multiple OKCs in western Indian population.
