In recent years online shopping has become a popular and convenient instrument for companies to buy and sell products. However, the design of these web-shops does not offer the rich multisensory experiences than physical retailing offers. In the paper we argue that audio-visual contents could provide dynamic multisensory information to offer more engaging experiences to the consumer, but to achieve this goal, audio-visual contents need to be adjusted to the cultural characteristics of the users. Korpusonomastinen tutkimus slanginimistä Hesa ja Stadi digitaalisissa diskursseissa

Artikkelissamme selvitämme Helsinkiä tarkoittavien slanginimien, Hesan ja Stadin, käyttöä uudentyyppisen aineiston ja menetelmän avulla. Aiemmissa näitä nimiä koskevissa tutkimuksissa lähtökohta on ollut kvalitatiivinen, mutta tässä tutkimuksessa lähdemme liikkeelle laajasta digitaalisesta aineistosta ja tilastollisista menetelmistä. Tutkimuksemme on uusi avaus nimistöntutkimuksessa, ja nimitämme sitä korpusavusteiseksi nimistöntutkimukseksi, lyhyemmin korpusonomastiikaksi.

Determinación de parámetros clínico-patológicos y moleculares implicados en la regresión espontánea de neoplasias melanocíticas cutáneas

Antecedentes y Objetivos: existe evidencia acumulada de que tanto el melanoma como los nevus melanocíticos tienen la capacidad de estimular la respuesta inmune. Se ha demostrado que la regresión en el melanoma es 6 veces más frecuente que en otras neoplasias malignas, y aunque la regresión completa de melanomas es un evento excepcional, se ha constatado que la regresión parcial es frecuente, ya que ocurre entre un 10 y un 35% de los mismos. Subtemporal Keyhole Approach to the Suprasellar and Petroclival Region: Microanatomic Considerations and Clinical Application

OBJECTIVE: To minimize surgical invasiveness, the keyhole concept is applied to the subtemporal approach. METHODS: Anatomic features were studied in 14 sides of adult cadaver heads, and the technique was used in 162 interventions. Although most of the lesions treated were 3 cm in size or smaller, larger lesions were also treated using this technique. In some cases, if needed, an endoscope-assisted microsurgical technique was used. RESULTS: The cadaveric study provided intimate experience with the microsurgical anatomy of the approach.
