Cucumber is one of the most commonly produced vegetable crops. The greatest economic losses in the yields of these crops have resulted from fungal infections—powdery mildew and downy mildew. The action of fungicides not only affects the fungi, but can also lead to metabolic disorders in plants. However, some fungicides have been reported to have positive physiological effects. Tutkimukseni tarkastelee luontoavusteisen toiminnan soveltamista hoivatyössä vanhus- ja vammaistyöntekijöiden kokemana erityisesti työntekijöiden ammatillisen ja henkilökohtaisen kehitys- ja muutosprosessin näkökulmasta. Automated Checking of Flexible Mathematical Reasoning in the Case of Systems of (In)Equations and the Absolute Value Operator

We present an approach and a tool for automatically providing feedback on solutions that involve complicated reasoning patterns. Currently the tool supports linear systems of equations and inequations that may also contain the absolute value operator and a restricted form of rational functions. This suffices for designing problems that are laborious to solve with standard mechanical procedures, but much easier using short-cuts that students may find by creative thinking. Starp pacientiem pasaulē, kam veikta totāla ceļa locītavas endoprotezēšana, pēc operācijas līdz pat 30% neizjūt nekādus sāpju vai funkcionalitātes uzlabojumus. Daļa pacientu izjūt smagas sāpes pēcoperācijas periodā un daudziem tās saglabājas vēl gadu pēc operācijas. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot kurš anestēzijas veids: kombinētā spināli epidurālā (KSEA) vai spinālā anestēzija kombinēta ar nervus femoralis katetru (SA+NF), ir saistīts ar viszemākām sāpēm pēcoperācijas periodā, apmēram gadu pēc operācijas un ar vislabāko ceļa locītavas funkcionalitāti, pēc paša pacienta vērtējuma. Vaarantuneiden jokirapukantojen uhkana on vesistöihimme hyvin sopeutunut vieraslaji, täplärapu, ja sen kantama, erityisesti jokiravuille kohtalokas rapuruton muoto. Rapupopulaatioiden paikantaminen ja seuranta on perinteisesti perustunut paikallistietoon ja koeravustuksiin. In this paper, our objective is to analyze how participants use the word kansa 'people' on the largest discussion forum in Finland, called Suomi24 (Finland 24). Filling the ___-s in Finnish MWE lexicons

This paper describes the automatic construction of FinnMWE: a lexicon of Finnish Multi-Word Expressions (MWEs). In focus here are syntactic frames: verbal constructions with arguments in a particular morphological form. The verbal frames are automatically extracted from FinnWordNet and English Wiktionary. The resulting lexicon interoperates with dependency tree searching software so that instances can be quickly found within dependency treebanks. The extraction and enrichment process is explained in detail. The resulting resource is evaluated in terms of its coverage of different types of MWEs. It is also compared with and evaluated against Finnish PropBank. peerReviewed
