Kodaira dimension of holomorphic singular foliations

We introduce numerical invariants of holomorphic singular foliations under bimeromorphic transformations of surfaces. The basic invariant is a foliated version of the Kodaira dimension of compact complex manifolds.
Linearization of complex hyperbolic Dulac germs

We prove that a hyperbolic Dulac germ with complex coefficients in its expansion is linearizable on a standard quadratic domain and that the linearizing coordinate is again a complex Dulac germ. The proof uses results about normal forms of hyperbolic transseries from another work of the authors.
Weighted estimates for diffeomorphic extensions of homeomorphisms

Let $\Omega \subset \mbr^2$ be an internal chord-arc domain and $\varphi : \mbs^1 \rightarrow \partial \Omega$ be a homeomorphism. Then there is a diffeomorphic extension $h : \mbd \rightarrow \Omega$ of $\varphi .$ We study the relationship between weighted integrability of the derivatives of $h$ and double integrals of $\varphi$ and of $\varphi^{-1} .$
The Fatou coordinate for parabolic Dulac germs

We study the class of parabolic Dulac germs of hyperbolic polycycles. For such germs we give a constructive proof of the existence of a unique Fatou coordinate, admitting an asymptotic expansion in the power-iterated log scale.
On BLD-mappings with small distortion

We show that every $$L$$ -BLD-mapping in a domain of $$\mathbb {R}^{n}$$ is a local homeomorphism if $$L < \sqrt{2}$$ or $$K_I(f) < 2$$ . These bounds are sharp as shown by a winding map.

Exceptional Sets for Quasiconformal Mappings in General Metric Spaces

A theorem of Balogh, Koskela, and Rogovin states that in Ahlfors Q-regular metric spaces which support a p-Poincare inequality, , an exceptional set of -finite (Q−p)- dimensional Hausdorff measure can be taken in the definition of a quasiconformal mapping while retaining Sobolev regularity analogous to that of the Euclidean setting. Through examples, we show that the assumption of a Poincare inequality cannot be removed.
Analytic Properties of Quasiconformal Mappings Between Metric Spaces

We survey recent developments in the theory of quasiconformal mappings between metric spaces. We examine the various weak definitions of quasiconformality, and give conditions under which they are all equal and imply the strong classical properties of quasiconformal mappings in Euclidean spaces. We also discuss function spaces preserved by quasiconformal mappings.

Stabilization of the cohomology of thickenings

For a local complete intersection subvariety $X=V({\mathcal I})$ in ${\mathbb P}^n$ over a field of characteristic zero, we show that, in cohomological degrees smaller than the codimension of the singular locus of $X$, the cohomology of vector bundles on the formal completion of ${\mathbb P}^n$ along $X$ can be effectively computed as the cohomology on any sufficiently high thickening $X_t=V({\mathcal I^t})$; the main ingredient here is a positivity result for the normal bundle of $X$. Furthermore, we show that the Kodaira vanishing theorem holds for all thickenings $X_t$ in the same range of cohomological degrees; this extends the known version of Kodaira vanishing on $X$, and the main new…
