En esta investigación hemos pretendido averiguar por qué en la cultura visual posmoderna occidental se multiplican imágenes e historias de un tipo de personaje femenino contradictorio y ambiguo, que hemos denominado como heroína siniestra. Una figura contradictoria en sí misma, pues comporta dentro de sí dos tipos de personajes que por definición son opuestos (la mujer siniestra y la heroína), por lo que hemos tenido que indagar primero en la construcción histórica, simbólica y cultural de los dos tipos de personajes de forma separada, para entender así sus características visuales y sus motivaciones psicológicas. Public note-taking on a digital platform as a workplace practice

Unlike traditional note-taking with pen and paper, in which the note-taking process is only partially accessible to the co-participants, note-taking in the digitalized workplace may be done publicly, so that both the content of notes and the process of writing them are observable to the co-participants. Using multimodally oriented conversation analysis, this study focused on public note-taking in interaction sequences where the facilitator of a workplace project records the results of a workshop discussion on a digital platform. Abstract Drawing on the conversation analytic and sociocultural perspectives, this study investigates children's situated moral negotiations in classroom peer interaction in the absence of a teacher. The conversation analytic methodology is used to operationalise some of the key elements of the sociocultural perspective on moral development. In this way, this study enables readers to observe and study the semiotic, conversational and interactional mediations of moral functioning in real life, with the example of children's moral practices. FGFR2mutation in 46,XY sex reversal with craniosynostosis

Patients with 46,XY gonadal dysgenesis (GD) exhibit genital anomalies, which range from hypospadias to complete male-to-female sex reversal. However, a molecular diagnosis is made in only 30% of cases. Heterozygous mutations in the human FGFR2 gene cause various craniosynostosis syndromes including Crouzon and Pfeiffer, but testicular defects were not reported. Here, we describe a patient whose features we would suggest represent a new FGFR2-related syndrome, craniosynostosis with XY male-to-female sex reversal or CSR.
