The animals were divided into several groups to test the efficacy of this anti-angiogenic drug for early treatment of atherosclerotic lesions. Statistical analysis of the lesions revealed a decrease in the lesion size after 5 weeks of treatment.

Abstract Exosomes are nanosized vesicles containing specific cargos of DNA, RNA, proteins, metabolites, and intracellular and membrane lipids. Isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles in Candida albicans

In fungal infections, secretory mechanisms are key events for disease establishment. Mangiferin glycethosomes as a new potential adjuvant for the treatment of psoriasis

[EN] Mangiferin, a natural compound isolated from Mangifera indica L, was incorporated in glycerosomes, ethosomes and alternatively in glycerol-ethanol phospholipid vesicles (glycethosomes). Introduction: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) released in cell cultures are influenced by the cell culture conditions, such as the use of fetal bovine serum (FBS). FBS contains EVs and it is usually depleted of EVs by ultracentrifugation (UC) and/or heat inactivated (HI).
