Technology enables teachers to connect their students online with foreign students in a facilitated educational setting. Such tele-collaborative intercultural projects are called virtual exchange practices (O’Dowd 2018). The students get an opportunity to engage in dialogues and tele-collaboration with peers from other countries. This dissertation examines how members of one particular youth community, Christian lifestyle sports enthusiasts in Finland, use language and other semiotic resources to construct participation in their community of practice (CoP). The CoP is organized around the late-modern activity culture of lifestyle sports. The participants also share the Christian faith and in their snowboarding camps organize Bible study sessions and engage in prayer and worship. La videovigilancia pública es una medida prevista en el futuro Código Procesal Penal español. Se pretende en éste trabajo analizar si está justificada la afectación de ciertos derechos y libertades de la persona a favor de la prevención del delito y la seguridad ciudadana a través de la misma; igualmente, si cumple los requisitos de proporcionalidad, idoneidad e indispensabilidad de nuestro sistema penal español tal y como está regulada; y finalmente si la videovigilancia pública contribuye efectivamente a prevenir la acción delictiva o no.

Background. Nowadays, minimally invasive video-assisted thyroidectomy (MIVAT) is considered a safe and effective option. However, its complication rate has not been specifically discussed yet. The aim of this systematic review was enrolling a large number of studies to estimate early and late complications (transient and definitive, uni- and bilateral laryngeal nerve palsy; transient and definitive hypocalcemia; cervical hematoma; hypertrophic or keloid scar) of MIVAT compared with conventional technique.
