Ecopedagogia e nonviolenza nell’era planetaria. La scelta vegetariana
2016
Vegetarianism is not a forced choice nor an ideology, but it can be interpreted as a possible way of life and as an educational option. It is closely connected with a nonviolent modus vivendi which implies the choice not to kill humans and animals. It is a choice that, along the history, has been associated with a path of spiritual education. Vegetarianism can be seen, following the lesson of the Masters of nonviolence, as an important step for an integral education that promotes better human relationships and interconnections among all creatures that inhabit the planet.
Psicodinamica delle relazioni violente. Aspetti psicologici, clinici e sociali
2016
Relational dynamics in same-sex couples with Intimate Partner Violence: coming out as a protective factor
2014
The aim of this article is to participate in the debate on the phenomenon of violence in intimate relationships; a path of dominance and control, often accompanied by abusive behaviour and power. In particular, we would like to refer to violence in same-sex relationships, where this important role can be detected both from the relational asymmetry of the partner and also from the threat of a possible outing. It is a widespread phenomenon, yet not sufficiently taken into account, due to the invisibility in which homosexuals live. The inability to come out, is often hampered by sexual prejudices present in many societies – a situation that creates conditions for a lack of a social support net…
L’attaccamento nei nuclei familiari esposti a violenza domestica
2018
Multiple attachments in women with domestic violence experiences.
2015
According to attachment theory internal working models contain representations of self, others and interpersonal relationships. The attachment system tends to remain stable throughout a lifetime, the correlation concerning the typology of attachment during infancy and adulthood having been extensively demonstrated (Attili, 2004). An interesting field of research concerns attachment bonds that present discontinuity between the state of mind with regard to attachment to principal caregivers and the attachment model to the partner (Feeney, 2008). The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between attachment typology and experiences as a couple in women who have suffered domes…
Trasmissione intergenerazionale dell’attaccamento in casi di donne con partner violenti: Uno studio pilota.
2015
Early negative experiences could facilitate the formation of insecure internal working models and could deteriorate symbolic competence; in adulthood, attachment style could affect partner’s choice and parenting function. Current research on attachment intergenerational transmission shows that exposure to domestic violence is associated to maladaptive outcome in children. In order to give evidence to intergenerational con- tinuity of attachment we analyzed early traumatic experiences and attachment styles in a group of five family units, who were living in a Safe House for women and chil- dren escaped from domestic violence. The Adult Attachment Interview was adminis- tered to five mothers,…

War and Peace in the Religious Conflicts of the Long Sixteenth Century
2023
Were early modern religious conflicts wars 'of religion', 'for religion', 'between religions', or 'about religion'? The ways in which war was waged and peace was agreed in the 'long sixteenth century' were strongly influenced by, had a deep connection with, and produced a lasting impact on, the religious divide of Latin Christianity in the wake of the Reformation. This collection of essays seeks to analyse historically these influences, connections, and impacts from multiple points of view.
