The rapid growth of technology provides a wide range of new learning tools such as multimedia presentations of materials, interactive animated images for anatomy learning, 3-D models, full-scale (FS) patient simulators, and microworld training software, which are virtual reality tools that include high-level interactive haptic properties. Background Against the backdrop of the cognitive-motivational process model proposed by Vollmeyer and Rheinberg (1998) , this study investigates how the personality trait need for cognition in combination with a specific situation (short and long version of a live-action simulation game), current motivation, and immersion and flow (mediators) predict the learning outcome in the simulation game EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE CLASSROOM ( Starker & Imhof, 2014 ). This problem consist of efficiently assigning the clients of the simulation (avatars) to the system servers. The aim of this study was to develop and investigate the effectiveness of a VR intervention based on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) for social and public speaking anxiety. Dynamic interface for machine vision systems

Iconic programming intends to provide expressive tools to implement, to debug, and to execute programs. For this purpose, visual languages need pictorial constructs and metaphors to guide the design of algorithms in interactive fashion. In the paper a new class of dynamic visual interfaces, named DIVA (Dynamic Interface for Visual Applications), is introduced, its properties are described, and an application to visual compilers in a multi-processors system dedicated to image analysis is given. Augmented reality has been used in many fields, but it has not been used to treat psychological disorders. Augmented reality presents several advantages respect to: the traditional treatment of psychological disorders and virtual reality treatments.
