Adjunctive clotiapine for the management of delusions in two adolescents with anorexia nervosa

Clotiapine is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the management of a series of acute psychotic disorders. The current literature lacks evidence concerning the tolerability and clinical use of this drug in the management of individuals with anorexia nervosa (AN). In this study, we report two cases of adolescents with AN, treated with clotiapine. The reason for the administration of clotiapine was, for both patients, the manifestation of bizarre delusions concerning food and calories. Patient 1 presented a presyncope after the first dose of clotiapine, and treatment was rapidly discontinued. Organophosphate (OP) pesticides are widely used as antiparasitic chemicals in finfish aquaculture. However, current antidotes cannot be applied to treat intoxicated fish. We showed in previous studies the importance of glutathione (GSH) metabolism in pesticide resistance of the European eel Anguilla anguilla L. Resumo Presentamos una propuesta de análisis de videotutoriales de internet basado en los estilos cognitivos Holístico-analítico y Verbal-imaginativo. Para ello, se distinguen entre dos modos de enseñanza: la eficacia puntual (resolver un problema aquí y ahora) y la utilidad formativa (resolver un problema ahora y para problemáticas afines). La utilidad docente de un videotutorial puede depender de un equilibrio adecuado entre estos modos de enseñanza. Se trata de lograr resolver un problema ahora, pero con sustentos generales y a más largo plazo. El presente estudio trata acerca de la arquitectura de un edificio renacentista de promedios del siglo XVI, obra del arquitecto Julián de Alamíquez, enclavado en tierras del noreste de Murcia, en la ciudad de Jumilla, y que originariamente fue destinado a Casa-Ayuntamiento, habiendo tenido otros usos posteriores.
