From an encyclopedia of Iranian Folklore to an ontology of Iranian folklore

The main resource of the thesis came from 37 years of research work by Ahmad Shamlou, an Iranian poet. The body of research should be transformed from manuscript to digital material. Designing and implementing a semantic ontology for such a folk encyclopedia is a basic and essential part of the thesis. As the material bank is significantly large, semantic marking of the materials in their entirety must be done in a group action and this thesis aims to develop the appropriate framework for the encyclopedia. Let Me Hack It: Teachers’ Perceptions About ‘Making’ in Education

Making in education is an emergent practice focusing on learners as creators of things in a collaborative fashion while promoting knowledge construction through technology, design, and creative self-expression. Teachers’ (n=33) opinions about making were studied using an online questionnaire after they had attended an online course for professional development about making in education. The results suggest that there exists a group of educators who consider making as a promising approach in education and want to promote its use in schools. peerReviewed

Las habilidades de manejo de grupo que presenten los profesionales que imparten los programas de educación afectivo-sexual para personas con discapacidad intelectual son esenciales a fin de dirigir las sesiones hacia los objetivos establecidos. Por ello, el objetivo del presente trabajo es explorar las incidencias producidas durante la aplicación del Programa SALUDIVERSEX, en función del tipo de contenido de la sesión, analizando las habilidades de manejo del grupo de los 29 profesionales (90% mujeres y 10% hombres) que aplicaron este programa. Ocean acidification may have far-reaching consequences for marine community and ecosystem dynamics, but its full impacts remain poorly understood due to the difficulty of manipulating pCO2 at the ecosystem level to mimic realistic fluctuations that occur on a number of different timescales.
