Effects of the air density value on a wind generator electricity production capability

The paper main issue is the evaluation of the influence of the air density value on the electricity production capability of a wind generator. Two different density air mathematical models, where the density has not a constant value, are here taken into account and compared in terms of reliability, accuracy and computational burden. Evaluations are carried out thanks to a horizontal axis wind generator full model built by the Authors in Matlab/Simulink environment. Simulation results are compared with real data.

This research is aimed at examining the current experience of commercial biogas systems in the Europe Union and its adaptation for Ukraine. The change in the generation mix from conventional electricity sources to renewables has important implications for bidding behaviour and may have an impact on prices. The main goal of this work is to discover the role played by expected wind production, together with other relevant factors, in explaining the day-ahead market price through a data panel model. This paper describes the dynamic behavior of a typical fixed speed wind turbine connected to the grid; the model is developed in the simulation tool Matlab/Simulink and created as a modular structure. The pitch control system is used for stabilization of the wind turbine at grid faults. In this way, voltage stability of the system with grid-connected wind turbines can be improved by using blade-angle control for a temporary reduction of the wind turbine power during a short-circuit fault in the grid. Przeprowadzono badania ankietowe wśród mieszkańców wsi Kuniów w południowo-zachodniej Polsce, dotyczące pozytywnych i negatywnych aspektów budowy oraz funkcjonowania farmy wiatrowej. Ocenie poddano farmę 2 elektrowni wiatrowych o mocy 2 MW każda, z wysokością wież 110 m, długością rotorów 45 m i odległością od zabudowy 620 i 1300 m. W ocenie ankietowanych głównymi pozytywnymi aspektami rozwoju energetyki wiatrowej są: czysta energia, tania energia oraz zwiększenie możliwości rozwoju gminy i wsi z podatków.
