The present work focuses on the analysis of colloquial Italian starting from the rasgos coloquializadores (a series of conversational markers) describing the Spanish sociolinguistic research on informal contexts. After a short introduction on the rasgos, the second part of this article deals with the pattern of colloquial Italian. It may be considered a macro-variety sharing features belonging to several varieties of the Italian linguistic repertoire, further supported by the use of dialect. The theoretical context is also based on a significant number of examples from spontaneous and colloquial speech collected in Palermo. Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) is being used in many corporate networks and public infrastructures and as a backbone technology of many Autonomous Systems. Because of its importance, what is needed is to find out simulators able to simulate MPLS networks whose results reflect the real environment as much as possible. In this article, we will show real measurements from the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (ADIF, the Spanish railway infrastructure manager) MPLS network and we will compare them with the results obtained by the freeware simulator ns2. This research examines why and how consumers switch their mobile phones. We propose a framework that is grounded on decision-making and motivational theories and draws on the findings from a multinational qualitative survey on consumers’ mobile phone switching process. We show that consumers’ pre-switching decisions are affected by push and pull factors, their mobile phone selections are based on utilitarian or hedonic values, and their justifications for switching are based on cognition or affect. Attractor as a convex combination of a set of attractors

This paper presents an effective approach to constructing numerical attractors of a general class of continuous homogenous dynamical systems: decomposing an attractor as a convex combination of a set of other existing attractors. For this purpose, the convergent Parameter Switching (PS) numerical method is used to integrate the underlying dynamical system. The method is built on a convergent fixed step-size numerical method for ODEs. The paper shows that the PS algorithm, incorporating two binary operations, can be used to approximate any numerical attractor via a convex combination of some existing attractors. Tämän proseminaari-työn tarkoitus on tutkia, millaista suomen ja englannin kielen välillä tapahtuvaa koodinvaihtoa suomalaisessa tietokonepelidiskurssissa on sekä selvittää, pitävätkö keskustelijat itse koodinvaihtoa merkityksellisenä ja mitä merkityksiä se keskustelussa saa. Koodinvaihtoa on tutkittu kieliopillisesta, sosiolingvistisestä, kaksikielisyyden ja keskustelunanalyysin näkökulmasta. Tutkimusala on saanut näkyvyyttä viimeisen kymmenen vuoden aikana muun muassa englannin kielen kasvavan aseman kautta. Photoactivation in the Photoactive Yellow Protein, a bacterial blue light photoreceptor, proceeds via photo-isomerization of the double C=C bond in the covalently attached chromophore. Quantum chemistry calculations, however, have suggested that in addition to double bond photo-isomerization, the isolated chromophore and many of its analogues, can isomerize around a single C-C bond as well. Whereas double bond photo-isomerization has been observed with x-ray crystallography, experimental evidence for single bond photo-isomerization is currently lacking.
