Objetivo: Realizar una revisión de los estudios epidemiológicos sobre la influencia de la situación laboral y el tipo de ocupación materna en el nacimiento de niños con bajo peso y pretérmino. Material y métodos: Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases de datos Medline y EMBASE. Los artículos seleccionados se clasificaron siguiendo un protocolo que recogía las características de los estudios, la situación laboral materna, el tipo de ocupación y el resultado del embarazo. Abstract This study investigated the change in sex differences across years in ultra-distance swimming performances at the 36-km ‘Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli’ race held from 1954 to 2013. Changes in swimming performance of 662 men and 228 women over the 59-year period were investigated using linear, non-linear and hierarchical regression analyses. Race times of the annual fastest swimmers decreased linearly for women from 731 min to 391 min (r 2 = 0.60, p < 0.0001) and for men from 600 min to 373 min (r 2 = 0.30, p < 0.0001). El presente trabajo aborda el fenómeno de la violencia masculina contra el cuerpo de la mujer en el ámbito del surrealismo. De manera específica, el artículo se centra en el estudio visual de un tipo de agresión consistente en el ataque y rasgadura del vientre femenino, de donde se extraen las vísceras. Esta temática aparece en la producción de numerosos artistas surrealistas, que condensan una latente misoginia en la imagen de mujeres desventradas. Lower secondary school pupils’ written descriptions of their experiences with bullying and the tendency to seek help

The purpose of this study was to examine lower secondary school students’ (n = 223) descriptions of bullying and their experiences with the phenomenon. Students at three schools in Norway completed a survey containing open-ended questions. We employed a mixed-methods analytical approach in which responses were coded thematically and then quantified. Findings indicate that students viewed bullying in a manner consistent with prevalent definitions in the literature. However, they were often unsure whether social conflicts they had experienced would be considered bullying. Maintaining sufficient physical fitness to prevent any limitations in performing activities of daily living and to be functionally independent is of great importance for both longevity and quality of life in older adults. Aim of the study was to evaluate functional physical fitness of women aged 85 years and older, residents of nursing homes, in the Polish population and to assess the risk of frailty syndrome.
