Integrationism is a post-structuralist theory of language and communication. The theory has been applied to a groundbreaking analysis of writing as a form of communication where writing is teased apart from speech and realigned with spatial configurations in general. Although it has many practical applications, this view can be extremely difficult to comprehend when expressed as a very specific form of writing, that is, as written words on paper. This paper aims to examine the use of inclusive French in the Internet publications of Paris universities on their social media. Three higher education institutions were selected: Paris Dauphine-PSL University, Gustave Eiffel University, and Sorbonne Paris North University. The publications were obtained from Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Firstly, the groups of people to whom the use of inclusive French referred were considered. The second question was about the practices used to make the French language inclusive. Eight practices were observed and are described in the paper. The article demonstrates the significance of Florian Znaniecki’s personal documents method and biographical method in contemporary sociology. By relating to the methodological disputes of the late 19lh and early 20lh century, it indicates the theoretical basis for the establishment of those methods and the connection with inductive sociology put forward by F. Where do my words come from? : towards methods for analyzing word choice in primary level writing

Few intellectual tools exist for characterizing word choice development in primary level writing. The aim of this study was to identify categories for describing the development of word choice in young children’s narrative writings. Such categories may be used to demonstrate how word choice develops within writing practices of primary classrooms. The analysis was based on thirty texts from six students studying Norwegian as a first-language and collected from mid-year second grade through fourth grade utilizing case-study methodology.
