A framework for context-sensitive metadata description

Expectations regarding the new generation of Web depend on the success of Semantic Web technology. Resource Description Framework (RDF) is a basis for explicit and machine-readable representation of semantics. However RDF is not suitable for describing dynamic and context-sensitive resources (eg. processes). We present the Context Description Framework (CDF) as an extension of the RDF by adding a 'TrueInContext' component to the basic RDF triple ('subject-predicate-object'), and consider contextual value as a container of RDF statements. We propose an approach for producing database publishing programs by example. The main idea is to interactively build an example document, representative of the program output. The system infers from this document, without ambiguity, the publishing program. The end-user does not need to know a programming language, a query language or the database schema.
Towards semantic-based RSS merging

Merging information can be of key importance in several XML-based applications. For instance, merging the RSS news from different sources and providers can be beneficial for end-users (journalists, economists, etc.) in various scenarios. In this work, we address this issue and mainly explore the relatedness relationships between RSS entities/ elements. The main goal of this paper it is to present our experiments in ImageCLEF 2009 Campaign (photo retrieval task). In 2008 we proved empirically that the Text-based Image Retrieval (TBIR) methods defeats the Content-based Image Retrieval CBIR "quality" of results, so this time we developed several experiments in which the CBIR helps the TBIR. The TBIR System [6] main improvement is the named-entity sub-module. In case of the CBIR system [3] the number of low-level features has been increased from the 68 component used at ImageCLEF 2008 up to 114 components, and only the Mahalanobis distance has been used. Lietotne arī dod iespēju piedāvāt citiem uzņēmumiem savus produktus, ka arī veikt pasūtījumus no citiem uzņēmuma ar iespēju tos izsekot, par visu būs atbildīgs administrators ka arī par uzņēmumu, produktu un pasūtījumu veidošanu, rediģēšanu. Lietotne ir domāta kā atsevišķa sistēma lai dod iespēju dažādiem uzņēmumiem ātri un ērti pirkt produktus no citiem uzņēmumiem sistēmā. Kvalifikācijas darbā ietvaros bija izstrādāta SAPUI5 lietotne, izmantojot SAP ABAP, SAPUI5, JavaScript un OData serviss.

The localization experience for the e-prescription, based on the Health Level Seven Version 3 (HL7v3) Clinical Document Architecture, Release 2 (CDA Rel.2), is presented. As application, we propose a project of General Practitioners Integration with the EHR (Electronic Health Record), implementing the e-prescription, patient summary and other CDA Rel.2 documents. The integration is made possible with HL7v3, the most widely used standard for healthcare information interoperability.
