In this paper we propose a firing statistics based neuronal network burst detection algorithm for neuronal networks exhibiting highly variable action potential dynamics. Electrical activity of neuronal networks is generally analyzed by the occurrences of spikes and bursts both in time and space. Commonly accepted analysis tools employ burst detection algorithms based on predefined criteria. However, maturing neuronal networks, such as those originating from human embryonic stem cells (hESCs), exhibit highly variable network structure and time-varying dynamics. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin, missä määrin alakoulun kuudennen luokan opettajat kokevat pystyvyyttä ohjauksellisten strategioiden, ryhmän toiminnan organisoinnin ja oppilaiden osallistamisen suhteen. Kiinnostuksen kohteena oli myös, missä määrin opettajien kokemukset koulun ilmapiiristä ja johtajuudesta ovat yhteydessä heidän pystyvyysuskomuksiinsa. Lisäksi selvitettiin, onko opettajien pystyvyysuskomuksissa sekä kokemuksissa koulun ilmapiiristä ja johtajuudesta eroja sukupuolesta ja työkokemuksen määrästä riippuen. Opettajien tulkinnat kouluun kiinnittymisestä

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää mitä kouluun kiinnittymisen osa-alueita opettajat pitävät tärkeinä oppimisessa ja opettamisessa. Lisäksi selvitettiin taustamuuttujien (sukupuoli, opetuskokemus, opetustehtävä, pystyvyyskäsitykset) yhteyttä kouluun kiinnittymisen tulkintoihin. Tutkimuksen aineisto kerättiin viiden eri yläkoulun aineen- ja erityisopettajilta. Tutkimukseen osallistui yhteensä 178 vastaajaa. Kysely koostui kahdesta eri osiosta, joista ensimmäinen mittasi kouluun kiinnittymisen osa-alueita ja jälkimmäinen opettajien pystyvyyskäsityksiä.
