Oppilaat kaipasivat kouluyhteisöään ja vanhemmat ohjausta lasten koulunkäynnin tukemisessa. Non-standard work schedules (NSWS) have become typical, but their associations with childcare arrangements and children's well-being are unknown. This study explores how risk factors are associated with the social–emotional well-being of girls and boys using flexibly scheduled early childhood education and care. Furthermore, the study investigates whether well-functioning cooperation between parents and educators buffers the negative effects of the risk factors. Assortment, but not knowledge of assortment, affects cooperation and individual success in human groups

The success or failure of human collective action often depends on the cooperation tendencies of individuals in groups, and on the information that individuals have about each other's cooperativeness. However, it is unclear whether these two factors have an interactive effect on cooperation dynamics. Using a decision-making experiment, we confirm that groups comprising individuals with higher cooperation tendencies cooperate at a higher level than groups comprising individuals with low cooperation tendencies. Tutkimusongelmina oli selvittää opettajien ja rehtorin kohtaamia haasteita Geresdlakin koulussa Unkarissa. Toisena ongelmana oli saada mahdollisimman laaja historian tuntemus Geresdlakista ja sen lähiseuduista. Laaja historian ja tapahtumien tuntemus auttaa tutkijaa ja lukijaa paremmin ymmärtämään Geresdlakin nykytilannetta. Designing knowledge construction in pre-service teachers’ collaborative planning talk

In this paper, we report on a qualitative study of student teachers’ collaboration in planning and implementing a course that integrated physics and the Finnish language. Audio-recorded planning sessions and interviews were examined using qualitative content analysis, first, to discover what kind of space for knowledge construction student teachers designed for learners and, second, to identify the characteristics of their collaboration in developing a new cross-disciplinary pedagogical practice.
