This study examines the associations between work-family conflict (WFC) and family-work conflict (FWC) with work-specific, family-specific, and well-being-related variables during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract Background Higher depressive symptoms have been associated with lower future income. However, studies examining this issue have had limited follow-up times and have used self-reported measures of income. Also, possible confounders or mediators have not been accounted. Methods 971 women and 738 men were selected from the ongoing prospective Young Finns Study (YFS) that began in 1980. Depressive symptoms were measured in 1992 when participants were from 15 to 30 years old. In this study, we examine the prevalence of income and career concerns among emerging adults in three different welfare states during COVID-19: Finland ( n = 309), Sweden ( n = 324), and the United Kingdom ( n = 343). This study also delves into how factors such as one’s self-perceived financial situation, generalized mistrust, loneliness and socio-demographics are related to emerging adults’ income and career concerns. Background This study aimed to compare the histological and immunohistochemical characteristics of ameloblastomas (AM) and ameloblastic carcinomas (AC). Material and Methods Fifteen cases of AM and 9 AC were submitted to hematoxilin and eosin (H&E) and immunohistochemical analysis with the following antibodies: cytokeratins 5,7,8,14 and 19, Ki-67, p53, p63 and the cellular adhesion molecules CD138 (Syndecan-1), E-cadherin and β-catenin. International audience; Volcanoes are unstable structures that deform laterally and frequently experience mass wasting events. Hydrothermal alteration is often invoked as a mechanism that contributes significantly to volcano instability. We present a study that combines laboratory experiments, geophysical data, and large-scale numerical modeling to better understand the influence of alteration on volcano stability, using La Soufrière de Guadeloupe (Eastern Caribbean) as a case study. Liekais svars un aptaukošanās pazemina dzīves kvalitāti un ir par iemeslu daudzām saslimšanām: diabētam, koronārajām sirds slimībām, onkoloģiskajām saslimšanām, metabolajam sindromam. Pētījuma mērķis ir izvērtēt uztura, fiziskās aktivitātes (FA) un miera vielmaiņas intensitātes (RMR) korelāciju ar ķermeņa tauku masu jaunu, pieaugušu, klīniski veselu cilvēku grupā. Pētījuma gaitā tika analizēta izmeklējamo personu 3 dienu uztura dienasgrāmata, fiziskā aktivitāte noteikta ar anketēšanas metodi, veikti antropometriskie mērījumi un reģistrēta miera vielmaiņas intensitāte ar netiešās kalorimetrijas metodi.
