Tipologías de consumidores de alcohol dentro de la práctica del botellón en tres ciudades españolas

In this work, 6,009 youngsters (14-25 years old) who practice the «botellon» were interviewed in three cities of the Valencian Community. After a stratifi ed sampling among college and noncollege students, a two-step cluster analysis was carried out for each sample with two aims: to identify different types of alcohol consumers in the practice of the «botellon» and to carry out a crossed validation of the results obtained. The variables included in the analysis were the following: gender, age group (university students: U; adolescent students: ES), performance of intensive episodes of consumption (yes/no), number of years practicing the «botellon» and grams of alcohol ingested. En aquest article presentem els resultats d'una investigació a gran escala sobre la Inseguretat Lingüística formal o laboviana (ILF). La mostra és representativa de l'univers estudiat -els joves valencians dels dos darrers cursos de l'ensenyament obligatori- i està formada pet 2190 estudiants entre 14 i 16 anys de 31 centres d'educació secundària de les localitats del País Valencià on es parla la llengua catalana. La ILF és un índex de la percepció que tenen els parlants de la distància que hi ha entre els seus usos lingüístics i les formes lingüístiques més prestigioses. Representation of professions among youngsters : from resistance to progress. On the basis of a survey of 1149 pupils, this article sheds light on their representations of professions. Diverse world visions are expressed according to individual characteristics of these youngsters. A vast majority of female high school students, especially those in scientific and industrial fields, tend to have a non-gendered approach to professions, whereas boys' gendered stereotypes resist and persist. Youngsters' writings also reveal how much women's and men's traditional roles persist. Esta investigación analiza el uso del sufijo diminutivo en un corpus oral de jóvenes de la República Dominicana. El material procede de la transcripción de veinte entrevistas orales realizadas en los años noventa en Santo Domingo. En este estudio se realiza un análisis de las ocurrencias documentadas, su morfología, sus preferencias en cuanto a la selección de las clases de palabras que se toman como base para la formación de diminutivos, sus posibles valores semánticos y comunicativos, y, por último, se determina la frecuencia de uso del diminutivo en función del sexo de los hablantes. Un fenómeno que en España favorece el actual patrón de consumo de alcohol juvenil es el conocido como botellón. A partir de una investigación financiada por el Plan Nacional sobre Drogas (2004-2007), se recogieron datos de 6009 jóvenes entre 14 y 25 años en tres ciudades españolas, considerando para este trabajo a quienes realizan episodios de consumo intensivo de alcohol (n = 2807). El objetivo ha sido identificar los distintos tipos de consumidores de riesgo intensivos mediante un análisis de conglomerados y establecer el perfil característico de cada uno.
