Czym jest grzech, wina i przebaczenie? Te kwestie zostały poruszone w opublikowanym w 2020 r. dokumencie Kościoła Ewangelickiego w Niemczech z perspektywy protestanckiej antropologii. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest podjęcie refleksji wokół najważniejszych idei tego dokumentu EKD, jakie wyznaczają jego poszczególne części: (1) grzech oraz fenomen grzeszenia; (2) zagubiony człowiek i odpowiedź Biblii; (3) miejsca doświadczenia winy, przebaczenia oraz pojednania. Apziņa paredzoši kodētas uztveres hierarhijā

Darba mērķis ir iztirzāt un izvērtēt šobrīd kognitīvajās zinātnēs un filosofijā aktuālās paredzošās kodēšanas teorijas implikācijas attiecībā uz cilvēka apziņu. Konkrēti tiek pētīti fenomenālie un pieejas apziņu veidi un šo apziņas veidu saturs saistībā ar uztveres sistēmām smadzenēs. Pētījuma gaitā tiek aizstāvētas divas tēzes: pirmkārt, fenomenālās apziņas saturs paredzoši kodētas sistēmas ietvaros ir izkliedētas, bagātīgas un hierarhiskas reprezentācijas, un, otrkārt, ka šīs reprezentācijas ir vienādi strukturētas funkcionāli atšķirīgos kontekstos, padarot fenomenālās un integratīvās apziņas saturu par strukturāli vienlīdzīgiem.

Fluorescence enhancement of quinolines by protonation.

A study of the fluorescence enhancement of isoquinoline, acridine (benzo[b]quinoline) and benzo[h]quinoline is reported with six organic acids of different pKa values. Protonation was found to be an effective tool in the fluorescence enhancement of quinolines. A significant increase in the fluorescence intensity is observed only when strong acids are used, resulting in an over 50-fold increase in fluorescence with trifluoroacetic or benzenesulfonic acid and isoquinoline in a 1.5 : 1 ratio. The benzenesulfonic acid was found to be the most effective in the protonation of the bases despite its higher pKa value compared to trifluoro- and trichloroacetic acid. Frozen shoulder (FS) is a poorly understood condition resulting in substantial shoulder pain and mobility deficits. The mechanisms behind FS are not yet fully understood, but, similar to other persistent pain states, central pain mechanisms may contribute to ongoing symptoms in this population. The objective of this research was to investigate conditioned pain modulation (CPM) in people with FS compared with pain-free individuals. A total of 64 individuals with FS and 64 healthy volunteers participated in this cross-sectional study. Radzenes toriskuma mērījumi ar radzenes topogrāfu un optisko koherento tomogrāfiju

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 42 lappusēm, satur 16 attēlus, 5 tabulas un atsauces uz 82 literatūras avotiem. Mērķis: analizēt radzenes OCT iespējas noteikt radzenes liekuma rādiusu un radzenes toriskumu, analizēt OCT radzenes toriskuma mērījumu pielietojumu klīniskajā praksē. Metode: veikti 3 auto - keratometrijas mērījumi, 3 radzenes topogrāfijas mērījumi un 3 radzenes OCT skenējumi katrai acij. Rezultāti: keratometrijas mērījumi ir atšķirīgi ar AK, TOPO un OCT, atšķirība ir statistiski nozīmīga (p < 0,05). Electoral rights belong to the core of citizenship in democratic nation-states. Voting, then, represents an actualization of the relationship between the citizen and the political community. For citizens living outside the country in which they are eligible to vote, voting signifies a rare institutional connection to the country of origin.
