Mobility and Unspoken Citizens’ Rights in EU-Documents

The formulation of Union citizenship has concentrated on rights since the 1970s. In the Maastricht and subsequent EU treaties, Union citizenship is defined through rights. Against this background, discussion on rights in the EU documents on citizenship analysed in this article is surprisingly scarce. The research material consists of 15 documents produced by EU institutions in 2003–2007 as part of three programmes on citizenship. In the documents, the discussion on rights focuses on mobility instead of other aspects of rights. La presente investigación tiene como finalidad describir cómo la ciudadanía ha contribuido a la elaboración de un Diagnóstico Territorial de Empleo (DET) promovido por la Generalitat Valenciana, previo al diseño de futuras políticas públicas para el fomento del empleo, en tres municipios alicantinos. Se consiguió a través de una Investigación-Acción-Participación (IAP). Se realizaron talleres participativos y grupos focales que sirvieron para que la ciudadanía conociese de la existencia del proyecto y sus fines, además de aportar su experiencia, opinión y plantear posibles soluciones a la problemática del empleo en estos municipios. Problematizing the environmental democracy: Can online eco-citizen participation rescue the institutional participation? The rise of the digital society came with a series of hopes picturing a liberating technology. At the same time, political institutions call for a better integration of citizens in the public affairs’ government. Knowing that this injunction to participation does not generate a massive mobilization, to what extent can online discussion platforms help to give new life to citizen participation? This issue will be brought up through an analysis of Community Management in a socio-technical perspective, as a part of our PhD Research Program.

Dzięki coraz nowocześniejszym i powszechniej stosowanym metodom bioindykacji można dokonać precyzyjnej i stosunkowo wydajnej oceny stanu środowiska naturalnego oraz zmian w nim zachodzących.Wymiernym sposobem monitoringu przyrody są obserwacje reakcji żywych organizmów. Badania przeprowadza się głównie z użyciem stenobiontów, czyli taksonów o małej tolerancji na zmienność warunków środowiska. Grupę roślin oraz zwierząt wykorzystywanych w badaniach bioindykacyjnych nazywa się wskaźnikowymi.Bioindykacja znajduje zastosowanie w geologii poszukiwawczej do odnajdywania miejsc z możliwością pozyskania cennych kruszców oraz w ochronie środowiska do monitoringu stanu jego zanieczyszczenia.
