National audience; Dans cet article, il s'agit d'appréhender l'effet de l'organisation de l'espace sur les opportunités des secondes générations et sur leur sentiment de discrimination, en mobilisant l'enquête Génération 2004 du Céreq, base de données privilégiée pour l'analyse de l'entrée des jeunes dans la vie active. Le contexte joue-t-il de la même façon pour les jeunes nés en France de parents immigrés et les Français d'origine ? Le sentiment de discrimination perçu par les jeunes femmes et les jeunes hommes évolue-t-il en fonction de la résidence en zone urbaine sensible ?

The population's access to groceries varies with the kind of spaces people live in (center vs periphery). If a large part of peri-urban peoples do not experience difficulties in accessing to supermarkets, some of them will face more difficulties. For these households, home delivery may reduce disparities of access between spaces and improve access to a wider assortment of groceries. The empirical work of this study is mainly based on the census of offers from several statistical sources, and a survey by interviews with local actors of home delivery. Subcontracting is a common practice in road transport, especially in parcel transport operations. Parcel transport is defined as the collection and distribution of shipments of less than three tons. Deliveries and pick-up rounds in urban areas present some specificities (such as difficult traffic and parking situations) which contribute in the high the use of subcontracting within the parcel transport sector. Sub-contracting allows parcel carriers to minimize the costs of urban trips and to provide a flexible and cost-efficient service to shippers. Geostatistical computing of acoustic maps in the presence of barriers

Acoustic maps are the main diagnostic tools used by authorities for addressing the growing problem of urban acoustic contamination. Geostatistics models phenomena with spatial variation, but restricted to homogeneous prediction regions. The presence of barriers such as buildings introduces discontinuities in prediction areas. In this paper we investigate how to incorporate information of a geographical nature into the process of geostatistical prediction. In addition, we study the use of a Cost-Based distance to quantify the correlation between locations.

The Reunion Island faced a great epidemic of chikungunya in 2005-2006. Chikungunya is a vector-borne disease transmitted by a mosquito. It is in the town of St Pierre, in the south of the island, that the first cases of chikungunya appeared in 2005. We chose to work on one area of the Ravine des Cabris, in the town of Saint-Pierre in the south of the Reunion Island, where individual housing outweighs the block of flats, where houses are surrounded by gardens – closed in for most of them, well watered- and where the foliage is important: we are in a green urban area which is a place of high prevalence.
