Comprensió de la lectura en alumnes d'ensenyament secundari

Aquest treball es planteja per conèixer més de primera mà la comprensió i assimilació de textos escrits, en alumnes de l'actual ensenyament secundari. La mostra emprada va ser de 28 alumnes entre 14 i 20 anys, de 3r d'ESO i COU majoritàriament, de l'Institut d'Ensenyament Secundari «Alameda de Osuna» de Madrid. Els resultats obtinguts en aquest estudi indiquen que, en els lectors de menor edat els processos de lectura són més simples i en alguns casos incomplets, mentre que els lectors de major edat fan una lectura que implica processos cognitius més complexos, adequats i profunds.

Fast Internet connections and the widespread use of high performance graphic cards are making Distributed Virtual Environments (DVE) very common nowadays. The architecture and behavior of these systems are very similar to new grid computing applications where concepts such as sharing and high scalability are extremely exploited. Multistate active spaces from local CAS-SCF molecular orbitals: the photodissociation of HFCO as an example.

A recently developed algorithm to generate localized molecular orbitals (LMO) is applied to the study of excited states along a photodissociation process. The LMOs allow for the selection of a consistent complete active space (CAS) for the simultaneous description of all the electronic states involved in a multistate process on the basis of simple chemical criteria. The local nature of the orbitals is used to label them in a unique way that does not depend on the molecular geometry. The open shell (SC)(2)-CAS-SDCI method along with a basis set of atomic natural orbitals (ANO) has been applied for calculating the main ionization potentials of acetylene, as well as the manifold of excited states of the different symmetries up to 32 eV. In this method, the single and double excitations of a CAS space are generated and the corresponding CI matrix is corrected by means of the (SC)(2) procedure that cancels the size-extensivity error and adds some high order contributions. Efficiently using connectivity information between triangles in a mesh for real-time rendering

Triangle meshes are the most popular standard model used to represent polygonal surfaces. Drawing these meshes as a set of independent triangles involves sending a vast amount of information to the graphics system. Taking advantage of the connectivity information between the triangles in a mesh dramatically diminishes the amount of information the graphics system must handle. Multiresolution Triangle Strips (MTS) represent a triangle mesh as a collection of multiresolution triangles strips. These strips are the basis of both the storage and the rendering stage. The coherence between the extraction of two levels of detail is used in the model in order to decrease the visualisation time.
Remote interspecies interactions: Improving humans and animals wellbeing through mobile playful spaces

[EN] Play is an essential activity for both humans and animals as it provides stimulation and favors cognitive, physical and social development. This paper proposes a novel pervasive playful environment that allows hospitalized children to participate in remote interspecies play with dogs in a dog daycare facility, while it also allows the dogs to play by themselves with the pervasive system. The aim of this playful interactive space is to help improving both children¿s and animal¿s wellbeing and their relationships by means of technologically mediated play, while creating a solid knowledge base to define the future of pervasive interactive environments for animals.

For Not Transferable Learning, it is necessary to start from an instantaneous learning; by a discrete way, we must form a stochastic model considering the probability of each path; with a continue aproximation, we can study the evolution of the internal state through to consider the relative and absolute probabilities, by means of differential equations systems. For Transferable Learning, the instantaneous learning give us directly the System evolution. So, the Algoritmes for the different models are compared.
