Sommitellut muusat : rituaali ja leikki luovan kirjoittamisen prosesseissa ja kirjoittajaryhmän toimissa
2020
To write is a complex, delicate and intense act. The goal of this study has been to find out what the process of creative writing looks like when viewed through the concepts of ritual and play. I have engaged with creative writing research, research on ritual and play, and new materialist philosophy. Research data has been formed by ethnographic methods in a writing group as well as my own creative work. I have applied ritual and play to create writing prompts and creative writing methods. The ethnographic data consists of personal and group interviews of creative writers. The personal interviews shed light on what kind of rituals, habits, feelings and sensations the writers observe in thei…

2015
Different Endurance Exercise Modalities, Different Affective Response: A Within-Subject Study
2021
Affect experienced during an exercise session is supposed to predict future exercise behavior. However, empirical evidence reveals high variability in affective response to different exercise modalities. Thus, the purpose of the present study was to compare acute affective response and its variation during three different endurance exercise modalities: (a) moderate-intensity continuous exercise (MICE), (b) vigorous-intensity continuous exercise (VICE), and (c) high-intensity interval exercise (HIIE). Using the dual-mode theory as a theoretical framework, cognitive and interoceptive factors were considered as potential predictors of in-task affective response. In a within-subject design, 40 …
Investigación acción con estudiantes de integración social : una experiencia basada en la relación educativa
2014
The crisis which we live, has prompted an explosion of citizen participation in the collective space. This work is also the main motivations and interests of the students of Higher Level Training Course in Social Integration with the intention of describing a profile and to him the contributions made by the educational relationship. These studies are unknown to most but between their curricular objectives, aims to develop the autonomy of people with a clear allusion to th…
Pathways Through Peer Assessment: Implementing Peer Assessment in a Lower Secondary Physics Classroom
2020
AbstractPeer assessment has been shown to advance learning, for example, by improving one’s work, but the variance of learning benefits within or between studies has not been explained. The purpose of this case study was to examine what kinds of pathways students have through peer assessment and to study which factors affect them when peer assessment is implemented in the early stage of physics studies in the context of conducting and reporting inquiry. Data sources used include field notes, audio recordings of lessons, student lab reports, written peer feedback, and student interviews. We examined peer assessment from the perspective of individual students and found 3 profiles of peer asse…

La famiglia alla sfida del Gender
2016
The “Gender” ideology impact on fam…
¿Cabe hablar de una «generación de la crisis»? Discusión en torno a una noción sobreexplotada
2018
This article states that nowadays there is an overuse (or a misuse) of the «Generation» idea. The discussion among many authors over the «Generation of crisis» concept suggests that it is useful to outline the characteristics of the target of population of the collective of youth who are mainly affected by the economic and social crisis over the past years. Nevertheless, through analyzing the meanings of the «Generation of Crisis» made by Mannheim, Ortega and other classic authors, it is clear that the social class approach together with the generational one are needed to define this concrete concept. The conclusion of the articleis that both approaches are seen as underpinning their utilit…

Prismatic adaption (PA) has been proposed as a tool to induce neural plasticity and is used to help neglect rehabilitation. It leads to a recalibration of visuomotor coordination during pointing as well as to aftereffects on a number of sensorimotor and attention tasks, but whether these effects originate at a motor or attentional level remains a matter of debate. Our aim was to further characterize PA aftereffects by using an approach that allows distinguishing between effects on attentional and motor processes. We recorded EEG in healthy human participants (9 females and 7 males) while performing a new double step, anticipatory attention/motor preparation paradigm before and after adaptat…
