Ārstu un pacientu skaidrojošie modeļi par antidepresantu lietošanu

Bakalaura darbs aplūko veidus, kā antidepresantu lietotāji pamato medikamentu izmantošanu vai atmešanu. Šim mērķim tiek detalizēti pētīti informantu saslimšanas skaidrojošie modeļi, kā arī, kādu ietekmi uz tiem atstāj vēršanās pie veselības aprūpes speciālistiem. Pētījumā datu iegūšanai izmantotas daļēji strukturētas intervijas, kas balstītas uz Artūra Kleinmana izstrādāto jautājumu shēmu. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka antidepresantu lietošana ir ļoti komplicēta, un katrs gadījums ir specifisks. Bakalaura darbs “Depresijas pieredze: indivīdu perspektīvas, kā izprast un izskaidrot” ir pētījums, kas aplūko, kā indivīdi skaidro savu depresijas pieredzi, kā pētījuma fokusu izvēloties lēmuma pieņemšanas procesu uzsākt depresijas ārstēšanu. Pētījuma ietvaros, empīrisko datu ievākšanas, apstrādes un interpretācijas procesā, izmantota autoetnogrāfiska pieeja, kā arī teorētiskais materiāls - A. Kleinmana slimības skaidrojošais modelis un iemiesotības jēdziens. The Alzheimer’s disease is nowadays known all around the world, however not everybody is aware of the aftermath that this disease produces in those who suffer it directly and indirectly. There is even less awareness of the importance of providing care to those who give care. Pētījumā tika apskatīta tēma "Apendektomijas epidemioloģija pēc Bērnu klīniskās universitātes slimnīcas datiem 2005. - 2015. gadā”, analizēta bērnu akūta apendicīta saslimstība un to histoloģisku apakštipu izplatība. Pielietota retrospektīva analītiskā pētniecības metode. Teorētiskā daļa balstās uz 44 literatūras avotiem. Pētījumā izmantoti dati no 2279 nosūtījumiem uz patoloģisku izmeklēšanu no slimnīcas arhīva; papildus tiek analizētas materiāla histoloģiskās un imūnhistoķīmiskās pārmaiņas. Izveidota datubāze, veikta datu statistiskā apstrāde. 3‐D CALCULATION OF ZERO‐COMPONENT FLUX IN THREE‐PHASE THREE‐COLUMN TRANSFORMER

The paper discusses the problem of space distribution of zero‐component magnetic flux generated in three‐column transformer. For 3‐D magnetic field calculation the method of integral equations was used. The numerical calculations were made for physical model of the transformer and compared with experimental results. The accuracy of the calculations of the magnetic field, achieved in the work, proves that the modelling may be used as a computer aided designing tool.

Any damage to the retina can lead to severe consequences like blindness. This visual impairment is preventable by early detection of ocular abnormalities. Computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) for ocular abnormalities is built by analyzing retinal imaging modalities, for instance, Color Fundus Photography (CFP). The main objectives of this thesis are to build two CAD models, one to detect the microaneurysms (MAs), the first visible symptom of diabetic retinopathy, and the other for multi-label detection of 28 ocular abnormalities consisting of frequent and rare abnormalities from a single CFP by using deep learning-based approaches. Bakalaura darba tēma “Pacientu ar pagaidu traheostomu aprūpes principi intensīvās terapijas nodaļā”. Tēmas aktualitāti pamato tas, ka pašlaik nav izstrādātas skaidras klīniskās vadlīnijas, kas noteiktu to, kā veicama pacientu ar pagaidu traheostomu aprūpe, kas ir īpaši svarīgi COVID-19 pandēmijas apstākļos, kad nav iespējams veikt manipulācijas ierastajā kārtībā. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot nozīmīgākos aprūpes principus pacientiem ar pagaidu traheostomu intensīvās terapijas nodaļā. Athènes et les « Philaïdes » Formes de réciprocité entre les aristocrates et la polis

This article aims at exploring the relationship between Athens and the members of the Miltiades and Cimon family, the so-called Philaids. The history of this lineage significantly marked the development of Athens in the archaic period. In spite of the contradictory traditions regarding these historical figures, a lexical analysis of the sources allows an interpretation of their relationship with the polis in terms of reciprocity. I will argue that this is a special form of reciprocity, generated by the unequal and asymmetric relationship that this family seems to have had with Athens.
Digital Mosaic Frameworks - an overview

Art often provides valuable hints for technological innovations especially in the field of Image Processing and Computer Graphics. In this paper we survey in a unified framework several methods to transform raster input images into good quality mosaics. For each of the major different approaches in literature the paper reports a short description and a discussion of the most relevant issues. To complete the survey comparisons among the different techniques both in terms of visual quality and computational complexity are provided.

Leonardo Samonà dedica delle interessanti riflessioni al concetto di paideia nel libro Gamma e proprio prendendo spunto da tali riflessioni, pur da una prospettiva diversa e con intenti teorici differenti, il saggio si concentra su questo peculiare uso di paideia che si ritrova nei testi aristotelici, con particolare attenzione alle sue implicazioni in Metafisica Gamma. Un uso che ha a che fare con la questione dei principi primi, con il tema dell'adeguatezza epistemologica e con la relazione conflittuale e problematica con la figura del recalcitrante.
