The politics of money utopias : methodological utopian explorations of the Banjar and the Neocracy

Methodological utopianism is used to explore the potential of money via two examples, making use of simulacrum case study research. These examples are the Banjar, a traditional Balinese governance and currency system; and the Neocracy, a real cryptocurrency system. Both are considered through an integralist positioning with implications for practical utopianism and economic evaluation of community currency systems. Maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot laika uztveri vecumdienās un tās saistību ar apmierinātību ar dzīvi, attiecībām un sociālām aktivitātēm. Pētījumā piedalījās 123 respondenti vecumā no 65 līdz 92 gadiem (16 vīrieši), aizpildot aptaujas par Līdzsvarotu laika perspektīvu, Kosmisko transcendenci, Dzīves jēgas izpratni, Sociālo atbalstu, Apmierinātību ar dzīvi un Attiecībām. Pētījums apstiprināja pieņēmumu, ka vecumdienās pagātnes laika perspektīvas nozīmīgums pieaug, bet nākotnes loma sarūk. Jokihelmisimpukka (Margaritifera margaritifera L.) eli raakku on yksi kaikkein uhanalaisimmista akvaattisista lajeista Euroopassa. Raakku loisii osan elinkierrostaan lohikaloissa, ja tästä syystä yksityiskohtaista tietoa lajin isäntäspesifisyydestä tarvitaan lajin suojelua varten. Tässä tutkimuksessa tutkittiin kalojen sumputuskokeilla sekä laboratorioaltistuksella, onko raakku sopeutunut eri populaatioissa eri isäntäkaloihin ja onko populaatioissa sopeutumista paikalliseen isäntäpopulaatioon. Suomessa tyypin 1 diabeteksen esiintyvyys on maailman korkeinta ja monen diabeetikon verensokerit ovat vaarallisen korkeita. Hyvän hoitotasapainon saavuttamiseksi elinikäisen sairauden hoidossa tarvitaan perinteisten menetelmien lisäksi myös psykologisia interventioita. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin ryhmämuotoisen hyväksymis- ja omistautumisterapiaan pohjautuvan lyhyt intervention vaikutuksia tyypin 1 diabetesta sairastavien nuorten hoitotasapainoon sekä hyvinvointiin. This paper advances stakeholder salience theory from the viewpoint of small businesses. It is argued that the stakeholder salience process for small businesses is influenced by their local embeddedness, captured by the idea of social proximity, and characterised by multiple relationships that the owner-manager and stakeholders share beyond the business context.
