This protocol outlines a mixed-methods cluster randomized controlled trial (CRCT) in upper secondary schools that will investigate how video-based online coaching can support teachers’ competences in teacher-student interactions (TSIs) and thereby improve student engagement and learning. The intervention will take place over a school year with at least 100 teachers and 2,000 of their students. Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää kohdekielisessä maassa tapahtuvan opiskelijavaihdon vaikutuksia ruotsin ja saksan opiskelijoiden ääntämiseen, eli muuttuuko ääntäminen ja millaisia mahdolliset muutokset ovat. We utilize findings from a large dataset of 488 in-depth interviews with media consumers, conducted in Argentina, Finland, Israel, Japan, and the US. We aim to make a contribution to the study of news avoidance by providing a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the drivers, practices, and patterns of news avoidance as they occur in and are shaped by a variety of national contexts. We present a COVID-19 news dashboard which visualizes sentiment in pandemic news coverage in different languages across Europe. The dashboard shows analyses for positive/neutral/negative sentiment and moral sentiment for news articles across countries and languages. First we extract news articles from news-crawl. Then we use a pre-trained multilingual BERT model for sentiment analysis of news article headlines and a dictionary and word vectors -based method for moral sentiment analysis of news articles. Darba mērķis bija izpētīt darba stresa saistību ar bailēm no COVID-19. Pētījuma izlase 114 viena uzņēmuma darbinieki, kuri aktīvi pildīja darba pienākumus, kas bija saistīti ar tiešu kontaktu ar klientiem pandēmijas laikā. Izmantotās metodes: Darba stresa anketa, Uztvertā stresa skala; Bailes no COVID-19 skala un demogrāfiskie dati. Uzņēmuma darbiniekiem bija vidēji augsti darba stresa, vidēji uztvertā stresa un zemi bailes no COVID-19 rādītāji. Vidēji cieša saistība bija starp darba stresa un uztvertā stresa, bet vājas saistība starp uztvertā stresa, darba stresa un bailēm no COVID-19 rādītājiem.

Negative frequency-dependence, which favors rare genotypes, promotes the maintenance of genetic variability and is of interest as a potential explanation for genetic differentiation. Density-dependent selection may also promote cyclic changes in frequencies of genotypes. Here we show evidence for both density-dependent and negative frequency-dependent selection on opposite life-history tactics (low or high reproductive effort, RE) in the bank vole (Myodes glareolus). Densitydependent selection was evident among the females with low RE, which were especially favored in low densities.
