Applying health promoting sports club standards in the Netherlands

This study explores health promotion activity of Dutch sports clubs by using the Health Promoting Sports Clubs (HPSC) standards, which are developed in Finland and here applied to the Dutch sports context. The standards consist of 23 items which cover different perspectives on health promotion. The standards form an overall HPSC index, which is used to create health promotion profiles for the sports clubs. 17 sports clubs from the municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch participated in this study, of which 42 club officials (1-6 per club) evaluated their own club on all HPSC standards on a five-point Likert scale. Background. Bonding agents could be used as fissure sealants. This study compares the retention three fissure sealants (Delton®, Delton Plus® and Concise®) and a filled dentin bonding system (Optibond Solo®). Methods. Fifty-six children aged 7-8 years received fissure sealants either in the four permanent first molars, in the four deciduous second molars, or in all eight of these teeth. Every child received a different sealing material in each quadrant on a random basis. Reverse subdivision consists in constructing a coarse mesh of a model from a finer mesh of this same model. In this paper, we give formulas for reverse Catmull-Clark subdivision. These formulas allow the constructing of a coarse mesh for almost all meshes. The condition for being able to apply these formulas is that the mesh to be reversed must be generated by the subdivision of a coarse mesh. Except for this condition, the mesh can be arbitrary. Vertices can be regular or extraordinary and the mesh itself can be arbitrary (triangular, quadrilateral…).
