Dispositional optimism (DO) and optimistic bias (OB) in risk perception are two distinct phenomena and previous studies about their reciprocal relationship report contrasting results. In the present study, we focused on the relationship between DO and OB when reporting the personal and the other persons' risk about COVID-19. Some epidemiological studies have shown an association between young maternal age at the time of delivery and risk of cancer in the offspring. In a recent German case-control study, there was a twofold increase in the leukaemia risk for children whose mothers were aged < 20 years at the time of delivery. ABSTRACT A rotavirus sample collection from 19 consecutive years was used to investigate the heterogeneity and the dynamics of evolution of G1 rotavirus strains in a geographically defined population. Phylogenetic analysis of the VP7 gene sequences of G1P[8] human rotavirus strains showed the circulation of a heterogeneous population comprising three lineages and seven sublineages. Abstract We have studied the high spin and low spin structural phases of the two-step spin transition compound [Fe(bpp) 2 ](NCS) 2 ·2H 2 O (bpp: 2,6-bis(pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine) of different sample history with X-ray synchrotron ( λ ∼ 0.32 A) powder diffraction at different temperatures as well as with usual X-ray ( λ ∼ 1.54 A) powder diffraction at room temperature by performing rapid repeated scans at regular intervals of time. A structural phase transition occurs only during the first step of the spin transition. Through a direct survey conducted on a sample of firms operating in the Sicilian fruit and vegetable sector, the present study provides an empirical evidence on the degree of diffusion of ICTs as well as on relationships with the regional distribution system. To pursue this goal, a multiple regression analysis model was implemented to identify which factors affect more the economic results of fruit and vegetable enterprises.
