Amuleti scursuna in corallo

Some amulets in the shape of sea animals/monsters, called scursuna, have received little attention in scientific studies of the coral red works of the Trapani craftsmen of the late 18th and 19th centuries. These are not only fascinating artefacts because of the curiosity that coral and the symbolic universe to which it refers still arouse today, but they also hold an intrinsic interest on two levels: the first, easily intuitable, linked to popular customs and beliefs, and the second as an artistic manifestation to be related to the historicist eclecticism that also affected Sicilian decorative arts during the 19th century.

Priekšstati par amuletu latviešu tradicionālajā un mūsdienu folklorā

Darbs “Priekšstati par amuletu latviešu tradīcijā un mūsdienās” veltīts līdz šim maz pētītai tēmai latviešu folkloristikā. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt amuleta atspoguļojumu folkloras tekstos un arheoloģiskajos materiālos un salīdzināt tā nozīmi mūsdienu sabiedrībā un tradicionālajos priekšstatos. Izstrādāts pētījums par mūsdienu latviešu priekšstatiem par amuletu, tā funkcijām, iegūšanu, izmantošanu, kas salīdzināts ar folkloras tekstiem un Latvijas teritorijā atrastajiem arheoloģiskajiem materiāliem. Iegūts raksturojums, kāda ir senā un mūsdienu cilvēka attieksme pret amuletu, izmantojot kontekstuālo un strukturālisma metodi.

Se presenta un ejemplo inédito de epigrafía ibéric a en una peculiar «chapa» lenticular de bronce. Descontextualizada arqueológicamente, la pieza presenta tres perforaciones, las cuales indicarían que se hicieron para portarla col gada o cosida a modo de amuleto. An unpublished sample of Iberian epigraphy on an o dd bronze, lenticular token is introduced. Found out of an archaeological context, this piece shows three holes which suggest that it was used as a hanging or sawed amulet

Bakalaura darba “Amuleti omamori un to loma mūsdienu Japānas sabiedrībā” mērķis ir noskaidrot “omamori” lietošanas nozīmi mūsdienu Japānas sabiedrībā. Tāpat arī bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīts reliģiskais fons Japānā, kā arī skaidrota prakse piedēvēt pārdabiskas spējas priekšmetiem primitīvo reliģisko uzskatu kontekstā un skaidrots amuleta fenomens. Japānā “omamori” popularitāte pēdējo gadu laikā ir ļoti pieaugusi. Mūsdienās “omamori” tiek plaši izmantoti gan reliģiskā kontekstā, gan sekulāri. Bakalaura darbā “omamori” fenomens tiek pētīts, izmantojot aprakstošo pētniecības metodi, kas ietver materiālu analīzi, vispārināšanu un klasificēšanu, kā arī izmantojot salīdzināmo pētniecības metodi,…
