Differential of metric valued Sobolev maps

We introduce a notion of differential of a Sobolev map between metric spaces. The differential is given in the framework of tangent and cotangent modules of metric measure spaces, developed by the first author. We prove that our notion is consistent with Kirchheim's metric differential when the source is a Euclidean space, and with the abstract differential provided by the first author when the target is $\mathbb{R}$.

Tutkimuksessamme kuvaamme, kuinka Euroopan unionin ilmastopoliittista lulucf-asetusta on kehystetty Maaseudun Tulevaisuuden ja Yleisradion verkkouutisissa syys–lokakuussa 2017. Tutkimuksemme teoreettinen viitekehys on ympäristöjournalismissa. Lisäksi taustoitamme asetuksen ympärillä käytyä keskustelua suomalaisen metsäkeskustelun historiallisilla näkökulmilla. Käytimme analyysimenetelmänä kehysanalyysia. Analyysimme tuloksena huomasimme, että lulucfasetuksesta keskustelua kehystetään ensisijaisesti kiistan kehyksen kautta. Clustering is a promising tool for grouping the sequence of similar time-points aimed to identify the attention blocks in spatiotemporal event-related potentials (ERPs) analysis. It is most likely to elicit the appropriate time window for ERP of interest if a suitable clustering method is applied to spatiotemporal ERP. Predicting stiffness and strength of birch pulp:Polylactic acid composites

This paper studies failure of birch pulp–polylactic acid composites. Stiffness and strength are calculated using the theory of short fibre composites and the results are compared to experimental data. The results differed from the experimental values by 0–6%. With less aligned fibres the short fibre theory is not feasible. The performance of the 40 wt% birch pulp – polylactic acid composite is predicted with X-ray microtomography based finite element modelling, and the results are compared with experiments. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää fysioterapian vaikuttavuutta ja merkityksellisyyttä aivoverenkiertohäiriötä (AVH) ja multippeliskleroosia (MS) sairastavilla kuntoutujilla keskittyen erityisesti ICF:n suoritukset ja osallistuminen -osa-alueeseen. Vaikuttavuutta koskevat määrälliset kirjallisuuskatsaukset (vaihteluväli: AVH 1/2008–5/2017; MS 1/2007–1/2017) kohdistuivat satunnaistettuihin kontrolloituihin terapeuttisen harjoittelun tutkimuksiin (RCT) painottuen tasapainoon ja kävelyyn.
