Conservation resource allocation involves a complex set of considerations including species, habitats, connectivity, local to global biodiversity objectives, alternative protection and restoration actions, while requiring cost-efficiency and effective implementation. We present a national scale spatial conservation prioritization analysis for complementing the network of protected mires in Finland. Mental fatigue is a common phenomenon with implicit and multidimensional properties. It brings dynamic changes of functional brain networks. However, the challenging problem of false positives appears when the connectivity is estimated by Electroencephalography (EEG). In this paper, we propose a novel framework based on spatial clustering to explore the sources of mental fatigue and functional activity changes caused by them. The aim of this study was to examine the positions that health personnel in specialist health care construct for patients experiencing intimate partner violence. It was also studied whether these constructed positions were challenged by other health care professionals and if so, how. The method of analysis chosen was discourse analysis. The data in this study was part of a larger development and research project Violence Intervention in Specialist Health Care (VISH), which was funded by the EU Daphne III Program in 2009–2010. Työn tarkoituksena on selvittää uimahallipalveluiden tuottamismalleja kuntaorganisaatioissa. Tutkimuksen kohteena ovat uimahallien hallinto ja laitosteknisten palveluiden tuottamismallit. Laitosteknisillä palveluilla tarkoitetaan kiinteistön ja allastekniikan ylläpitoon liittyvää toimintaa. Tutkimus kohdistuu yhteen palvelutuotannon osaan, uimahallipalveluihin, jotka ovat keskeinen kunnallisten liikuntapalveluiden toiminto. Näin pystyttiin luomaan riittävän syvällinen katsaus yhteen osa-alueeseen, joka kuitenkin kertoo myös laajemmasta kokonaisuudesta.
