Introduction: This paper describes the concept and content of early adolescents’ emotional skills among the general population. The research literature contains many emotional skills-related terms with overlapping meanings, and it can be challenging to determine which are applicable for example, to a music therapy assessment tool. This study comprises the first phase of developing an assessment tool for early adolescents’ emotional skills, namely, determining what is to be assessed. Tutkimuksen tehtävänä on selvittää, kuinka sosiaalityöntekijät perustelevat lastensuojelun palvelutarpeen arvioinnin prosessin aikana tekemiään päätöksiä, kun lastensuojeluilmoitus on tehty vanhemman päihteidenkäytön vuoksi. Päihteidenkäytön vaikutusta lapsiin ja perheisiin on tutkittu laajasti ja päihteiden käytön negatiivisista vaikutuksista perheiden hyvinvointiin on kiistattomat tulokset. Omien työkokemusten perusteella heräsi kiinnostus tutkia lastensuojelun puuttumisen kynnystä ja sitä suhtautuvatko sosiaalityöntekijät eri tavalla alkoholin käyttäjiin ja huumeiden käyttäjiin. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of research play an important role in summarizing current knowledge on the efficacy of the behavior change techniques and mechanisms of action that comprise behavioral interventions. The current reviews in the science of behavior change (SOBC) special issue represent a ‘step change’ in evaluating current evidence on behavior change interventions and mechanisms. This concluding article outlines the key findings and emerging issues identified in the reviews (‘known knowns’), and summarizes the evidence gaps highlighted by the reviews that need to be addressed in future research (‘known unknowns’). In independent component analysis (ICA), the selection of model order (i.e., number of components to be extracted) has crucial effects on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) brain network analysis. Model order selection (MOS) algorithms have been used to determine the number of estimated components. However, simulations show that even when the model order equals the number of simulated signal sources, traditional ICA algorithms may misestimate the spatial maps of the signal sources. In principle, increasing model order will consider more potential information in the estimation, and should therefore produce more accurate results. DNA traces the origin of honey by identifying plants, bacteria and fungi

The regional origin of a food product commonly affects its value. To this, DNA-based identification of tissue remains could offer fine resolution. For honey, this would allow the usage of not only pollen but all plant tissue, and also that of microbes in the product, for discerning the origin. Here we examined how plant, bacterial and fungal taxa identified by DNA metabarcoding and metagenomics differentiate between honey samples from three neighbouring countries. To establish how the taxonomic contents of honey reflect the country of origin, we used joint species distribution modelling.
