Testing and implementing a new approach to estimating interregional output multipliers using input-output data for South Korean regions

Flegg's location quotient (FLQ) is a useful tool for estimating intraregional output multipliers. This paper uses it as one component when estimating interregional multipliers. Using statistical information criteria and official data for 16 South Korean regions, it is found that the best approach is to combine the FLQ with a simple trade model. The paper explains how the proposed procedure can be implemented for both multiple and individual regions, and also how a region-specific value for the unknown parameter δ in the FLQ formula can be determined. Finally, an illustrative case study of one of the regions is carried out.

This paper introduces the idea of data-driven narratives to examine how the use of information, communications, and media technologies (ICMTs) impacts the sustainable growth of economies. While ICMTs have regularly been advocated as a policy tool for growth and development, there is a research gap in empirical studies validating how such policies may be effective. This analysis is based on historical panel data from 39 economies across the developed North (19) and developing South (20). Elinympäristöön liittyvä analytiikka yliopisto-opetuksessa

Tutkielmassa käydään läpi vesianalyysin vaiheita sekä menetelmiä, ja niitä tarkastellaan yliopisto-opintoihin soveltuvuuden pohjalta. Tämän lisäksi työssä esitellään projektioppimisen menetelmä, jota tarkastellaan opetuksen ja oppimisen lähtökohdista. Tutkielman pohjalta luotiin projektioppimiseen pohjautuva analyyttisen kemian laboratoriotyö, jonka toteutus vastaa Jyväskylän yliopiston LuK-tutkinnossa asetettuihin tieteen opetuksen ja oppimisen tavoitteisiin. Näiden tavoitteiden täyttymistä arvioidaan muissa yliopistoissa toteutettujen projektioppimistutkimusten tulosten pohjalta.
