Causalities between CO2, electricity, and other energy variables during phase I and phase II of the EU ETS

The topic of this article is the analysis of the interplay between daily carbon, electricity and gas price data with the European Union Emission Trading System (EU ETS) for CO2 emissions. In a first step we have performed Granger causality tests for Phase I of the EU ETS (January 2005 until December 2007) and the first year of Phase II of the EU ETS (2008). The analysis includes both spot and forward markets—given the close interactions between the two sets of markets. The results show that during Phase I coal and gas prices, through the clean dark and spark spread, impacted CO2 futures prices, which in return Granger caused electricity prices. Background and purpose: Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients are often emotionally disturbed. We investigated anger in these patients in relation to demographic, clinical, and mood characteristics. Patients and methods: About 195 cognitively unimpaired MS patients (150 relapsing–remitting and 45 progressive) were evaluated with the State Trait Anger Expression Inventory, the Chicago Multiscale Depression Inventory, and the State Trait Anxiety Inventory. Cetuximab is a human/mouse chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody (mAb) to epidermal growth factor receptor, approved for colorectal carcinoma treatment in combination with chemotherapy. The immune-mediated effects elicited by its human fraction of crystallization moiety might critically contribute to the overall anti-tumor effectiveness of the antibody. Chlormethylated polystyrene (crosslinked with 0.5% divinylbenzene) is quaternized with (+)-methyl-n-propyl-phenyl-phosphine. The resultant anion exchanger has a capacity of 2.68 m.equiv./g. Mandelic acid, atrolactic, and rac. tartaric acid could not be resolved into the antipodes on this material.

Los Síndromes de Langer Giedion (LGS) y el de Cornelia de (CdLS) son síndromes congénitos raros, causados por una alteración cromosómica y pueden aparecer comórbidos. Ambos se caracterizan por anormalidades esqueléticas, retraso del crecimiento, rasgos faciales distintivos y específicos, y discapacidad intelectual en severidad variable. Se presenta una revisión bibliográfica, de artículos publicados en el periodo 2010-2015, sobre ambos síndromes y su comorbilidad.
