A route to simple nonionic surfactants

AbstractA method for the synthesis of nonionic surfactants – N-alkyl-O-(2-hydroxyethyl) carbamates is proposed by acylation of fatty amines with ethylene carbonate without any solvent or catalyst. The surface tension of the prepared surfactants was measured, toxicity and biodegradability were determined for the surfactant with n-dodecyl as a hydrophobic group and N-monosubstituted amide and hydroxyl groups for their hydrophilic part.

Chemoperception is used by animals to detect nutritive food and avoid toxic compounds. It also allows animals to identify suitable ecological niche and mating partners. Like many other insects, Drosophila melanogaster possesses a very sensitive chemosensory ability and can detect and discriminate a wide panel of semiochemicals. This paper aims to identify the presence or absence of a connection between some factors that influence the evolution of tax revenue in the EU and to quantify its intensity using Pearson correlation coefficient. El presente estudio describe la competencia digital en el tratamiento de contenidos de Ciencias Sociales de futuros maestros. Para ello se recurre al TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) y se analizan los resultados de un cuestionario sobre las concepciones al respecto de 153 estudiantes del Grado de Magisterio en Educación Primaria.
