Abstract: Botrytis cinerea is the causative agent of gray mold disease, which causes considerable economic losses to winemakers. The extent of gray mold infection of winegrapes is commonly visually estimated, a method that is prone to assessor bias. Here, we used rapid and simple enzyme-based screening consisting of carbon-electrode, screen-printed amperometric biosensors to estimate gluconic acid and glycerol concentration in winegrapes infected with different degrees of B. cinerea. Determination of glyphosate in water samples with the combination of cation-exchange chromatography and capillary electrophoresis

An analytical method for determination of pesticide Glyphosate in water as a combination of cation-exchange chromatography and capillary electrophoresis is presented. Pure water was spiked with Glyphosate at concentrations 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 and 1 mM and percolated through a strong cation-exchange column packed with Dowex 50WX4-400 resin in its H+ form. The extract was further analyzed by capillary electrophoresis in indirect detection mode. The calibration curve for the pesticide in the range 0.1–2.5 mM was linear and with high degree of reproducibility. The obtained recoveries for all the studied concentrations amount 85%. The paper studies the mechanisms that govern the interactions between the entrepreneur (novice or expert) and the specific investors of emerging firms (business angels (BAs) and venture-capital firms (VCs)). Combining both literatures on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial finance, our aim is to understand if the rationalities of these three actors help them or not to interact, and, to study how they influence each other during the firm's growth. In order to do so, we undertake two processual case studies. Uz uzdevumu balstītas metodes pielietojums gramatikas apguvei vidusskolā

Gramatika ir nepieciešama, lai sazinoties ar citiem un galvenā doma būtu pareizi pateikta, tāpēc ir svarīgi palīdzēt skolēniem to apgūt teicamā līmenī. Mērķis bija izveidot papildus materiālus gramatikā, izmantojot uz uzdevumiem balstīto metodi. Lai izveidotu materiālus 10. klases skolēniem, tika veikta gadījuma analīze. Tā sevī ietvēra divu skolotāju un četrpadsmit 10.klases skolēnu aptaujas un skolēnu zināšanu testēšanu. Darba rezultātā tikai izveidoti papildus uzdevumi, kuri tika pilotēti divu mācību stundu laikā. Salīdzinot pārbaudījuma rezultātus, tika novērots, ka uzlabojās skolēnu zināšanas gramatikā. Papildus uzdevumi bija interesanti skolēniem un stundu plāni noderīgi skolotājai.
