Il saggio analizza il lapidario antico inglese tramandato nel ms. London, British Library, Cotton Tiberius A iii a confronto col lapidario tedesco di Prüll (Clm 536), sottolineandone la funzione pratica e la collocazione nel panorama della cosiddetta Fachliteratur del Medioevo germanico. L’analisi tipologica dei due lapidari ha tenuto conto del contesto d’occorrenza e delle rispettive fonti latine (classiche e cristiane, religiose e secolari), evidenziandone la diversa finalità (didattica per il lapidario antico inglese e medico-terapeutica per quello alto tedesco).

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kuvata ammatillisen minäkuvan muutosta ongelmallisten kokemusten assimilaatioprosessina psykoterapiassa. Kyseessä oli tapaustutkimus 34-vuotiaan naisopettajan terapiasta. Aineisto koostui nauhoitetuista ja litteroiduista terapiaistunnoista. Ammatillisen minäkuvan muutosta kuvattiin assimilaatioanalyysilla, ja terapian tuloksellisuutta mitattiin määrällisillä itsearviointimittareilla. Lisäksi pohdittiin, millaista tukea tutkimus antaa assimilaatioanalyysille prosessitutkimuksen menetelmänä. Cellular and tissue expression of DAPIT, a phylogenetically conserved peptide

DAPIT (Diabetes Associated Protein in Insulin-sensitive Tissues) is a small, phylogenetically conserved, 58 amino acid peptide that was previously shown to be down-regulated at mRNA level in insulin-sensitive tissues of type 1 diabetes rats. In this study we characterize a custom made antibody against DAPIT and confirm the mitochondrial presence of DAPIT on cellular level. We also show that DAPIT is localized in lysosomes of HUVEC and HEK 293T cells. In addition, we describe the histological expression of DAPIT in several tissues of rat and man and show that it is highly expressed especially in cells with high aerobic metabolism and epithelial cells related to active transport of nutrients …

Although the fields of music psychology and music therapy share many common interests, research collaboration between the two fields is still somewhat rare. Previous work has identified that disciplinary identities and attitudes towards those in other disciplines are challenges to effective interdisciplinary research. The current study explores such attitudes in music therapy and music psychology. A sample of 123 music therapists and music psychologists answered an online survey regarding their attitudes towards potential interdisciplinary work between the two fields.
