We propose a simple formalism for modelling of a service reliability. A service is defined as an ordered set of states of a modelled application. In the model, a certain reliability is assigned to each application state. Reliability of a service is expressed in terms of above partial reliabilities.
CliffoSor: A Parallel Embedded Architecture for Geometric Algebra and Computer Graphics

Geometric object representation and their transformations are the two key aspects in computer graphics applications. Traditionally, compute-intensive matrix calculations are involved to model and render 3D scenery. Geometric algebra (a.k.a. Clifford algebra) is gaining growing attention for its natural way to model geometric facts coupled with its being a powerful analytical tool for symbolic calculations. The Computer Control Software for MAMI

The computer control system of the Mainz Microtron is designed to keep track with the modular and step-by-step construction of the three accelerator stages. The system is up to now based on two loosely coupled HP1000 minicomputers, interfaced via CAMAC to the accelerator components and to the operator desk. The control software is divided into several layers of portable processes distributed to both computers. Communication between the processes, access to the data bank and the routing of CAMAC interrupts are handled via a message system which operates with symbolic addresses.

Human-centred views on information systems are gaining more and more attention in IS community. The need to evaluate information systems from such a perspective is thus evident. In this paper, we exploit our earlier developed theoretical framework for evaluating end-user support in information systems, and demonstrate its usage in validating the use of multiple communication and collaboration media in a CSCW application. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt, vai digitālie rīki var kalpot par efektīvu instrumentu, ar kuru palīdzību iespējams īstenot personīgo finanšu pārvaldīšanas procesu.
