El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la relación existente entre la reputación social del adolescente -percibida e ideal-, y la violencia instrumental -manifiesta y relacional- en adolescentes desde una perspectiva de género. La muestra utilizada en este estudios fue de 1319 adolescentes -T1- de ambos sexos (53% chicas y 47% chicos) y de edades comprendidas entre los 11 y los 16 años (edad media 13.5; desviación típica 1.5), escolarizados en siete centros educativos de enseñanza secundaria y, de 554 estudiantes -T2- (54% chicas y 46% chicos). Este articulo tiene como objetivo analizar la influencia de los estilos parentales de socializacion (autoritario, autorizativo, indulgente y negligente) y el nivel de riesgo percibido en el barrio en tres indicadores de problemas de conducta en la adolescencia (conducta escolar disruptiva, delincuencia y consumo de sustancias). El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la prevalencia de agresores adolescentes (cyberbullies) a través de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación (Internet y teléfono móvil). También, se examinaron las diferencias de género y de curso según el tipo de agresiones tecnológicas realizadas por el adolescente. La muestra estuvo formada por 1390 adolescentes de edades comprendidas entre los 12 y los 17 años. Honest mistake or perhaps not: The role of descriptive and injunctive norms on the magnitude of dishonesty

Trivial acts of dishonesty are very prevalent in everyday life and have severe economic and societal consequences. The present study aims to examine the role of descriptive and injunctive norms in minor and major dishonesty under ambiguity. We devised a novel experimental design in which rule violations can be the result of honest mistakes or various dishonest processes. In this ambiguous context, we observed a high prevalence of minor rule violations at baseline. In two experiments, exposure to increased peer cheating (i.e., negative descriptive norms) promoted major rule violations, whereas the presence of explicit or subtle rule reminders (i.e., injunctive norms) marginally reduced minor…

Chronic work-related stress and insufficient recovery from workload can gradually lead to problems with mental and physical health. Resources in healthcare are limited especially for preventive treatment, but low-cost support can be provided by Internet-based behavior change interventions. This paper describes the design of an Internet intervention which supports working-age people in managing and preventing stress-related health and wellness problems.
