Dielectric metasurfaces have emerged as a promising alternative to their plasmonic counterparts due to lower ohmic losses, which hinder sensing applications and nonlinear frequency conversion, and their larger flexibility to shape the emission pattern in the visible regime. The article tries to highlight, despite the scarse of available documentation, the Greek and Latin studies (language and texts) in the ancient Apulian University in Altamura (1748-1821). Furthermore, on the basis of unpublished archival materials (school registers and student workbooks) it is possible to shed light on the ancient authors explained at school, the teaching methods, and the study practices.

the contribution identifies and analyzes the success and operational fallout in Sicilian architecture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, of models for altars disseminated through the press. The theme of the altars indeed presents punctual connections with the world of model prints. As in other cases, these engravings were not only aimed at architects but were also intended for a wider world of operators, especially wood sculptors. Between the end of the seventeenth century and the first half of the eighteenth century, the project area in question knows mutations starting from new texts.

La corretta e costante applicazione della manutenzione può assumere un ruolo chiave per garantire la qualità del patrimonio costruito e il soddisfacimento delle più recenti classi di requisiti ambientali. A tal fine, è necessario che le strategie che guidano la programmazione delle attività di manutenzione siano modellate sulle caratteristiche del manufatto in esame.
