International audience; Cet article présente l’expérience et le vécu d’un apprentissage artisanalinséré au sein d’une recherche doctorale en tant qu’élémentméthodologique et épistémologique. À travers les prismes de l’ethnographieet des sciences cognitives, nous nous attacherons donc à endécrire l’organisation et la faisabilité (dans l’espoir de fournir quelquesclefs afin qu’une telle expérience puisse être renouvelée par d’autresque nous) ainsi que les effets et apports mutuels (dans la productionde l’artisan d’une part, et dans la recherche universitaire d’autre part).
