Revegetation through hydroseeding in degraded Mediterranean areas

Hydroseeding is a technique increasingly used to establish vegetation on degraded areas in order to perform environmental protection. The objective of this paper was to evaluate the effectiveness of four different hydroseeding methods on a degraded artificial slope in the southern Mediterranean area determining total vegetation cover, hydroseeding vegetation cover, hydroseeding success index (HSI), natural and hydroseeded vegetation height. El presente trabajo tiene carácter descriptivo y es consecuencia de años de servicio en políticas públicas de seguridad; esta experiencia personal ha pasado por el tamiz de la reflexión ética, y al escribirla hemos pretendido reconstruir esa experiencia de trabajo desde la perspectiva de una ética cívica. Esta voluntad de reconstrucción supone en cierto modo una “justicia reparadora” con los verdaderos protagonistas de esta historia: policías y vecinos, todos ciudadanos en un mismo escenario, la España constitucional, que han trabajado por la seguridad ciudadana y la libertad. Digital Activism in Russia: The Evolution and Forms of Online Participation in an Authoritarian State

AbstractThis chapter describes how digitalization has affected activism in Russia by tracing the evolution, particularity, and the most visible forms of online activism in the context of the increasingly authoritarian Russian state. It discusses online activism in relation to “connective action” and illustrates it with two examples of contentious political activism: the anti-corruption campaign led by Alexei Navalny and the struggle to protect online communication from state surveillance by the Telegram messenger service. In addition, the chapter presents examples of Russian activism, which do not directly challenge the Kremlin.

Tutkin artikkelissani henkilö- ja verkostohistoriallisesta näkökulmasta antikvaarista kirjakauppaa, jota käytiin Helsingin yliopiston opiskelijoiden ja tutkijoiden muodostamissa akateemisissa verkostoissa. Minerva Oy oli 1800- ja 1900-luvun vaihteessa Helsingissä toiminut tieteellinen antikvaarinen kirjakauppa. Tarkastelen Minerva-osakeyhtiön historiaa 1890-luvulta 1910-luvulle sen piirissä toimineiden henkilöiden kautta hyödyntämällä kollektiivibiografista menetelmää. La presente tesis doctoral aborda la consideración del auto calderoniano "El Maestrazgo del Tusón" (1659) en su doble vertiente de texto literario y texto espectacular, facetas inseparables en el análisis de todo texto dramático. El trabajo se ha estructurado en dos partes, de acuerdo con los objetivos perseguidos. En primera instancia, el propósito ha sido el de ofrecer –siguiendo los principios de la crítica textual moderna– una edición crítica fiable de uno de los autos que Pedro Calderón de la Barca (1600-1681) compuso en su época de plenitud dramática: "El Maestrazgo del Tusón", una pieza que, hasta la fecha, carecía de una fijación textual definitiva.
