Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää millainen merkitys musiikilla on arkipäivän esteettisessä kokemuksessa. Pyrin hahmottamaan musiikin ja arkipäivän esteettisen kokemuksen välistä suhdetta tarkastelemalla kannettavan musiikkilaitteen käyttökokemuksia arjessa. Arkipäivän estetiikka on melko uusi estetiikan tutkimuksen näkökulma, jonka eroavaisuuksia perinteisempiin estetiikan teorioihin on haastava rajata. Avaan tutkielmassani arkipäivän estetiikan sekä arkipäivän esteettisen kokemuksen käsitteitä, ja pyrin osoittamaan erilaisia tapoja miten arjessa kuunneltu musiikki voi olla osa kyseistä ilmiötä. Kansallisarkiston pääjohtaja Jussi Nuorteva on sukututkijoille tuttu henkilö niin tutkimustensa ja matrikkeliteostens kuin tutkimusaineistojen saavutettavuuden eteen tehdyn elämäntyönsä ansioista. Suomen Sukututkimusseuran kunniajäsen Nuotevan ura on kulkenut vankeinhoidon historiasta ulkoasianhallintoon sekä järjesteötehtävistä ja tiedetoimittamisen kautta kirjasto- ja arkistoalalle. Genoksen toimitus tapasi kesäkuussa 2022 eläkkeelle jäävän Nuortevan Kansallisarkistossa ja tutustui pääjohtajan opastuksella myös esillä olevaan Suomenlinna-näyttelyyn. nonPeerReviewed

Historiantutkijalle lähin arkistolaitoksen toimipiste on kuin toinen työhuone. Jyväskylässä maakunta-arkisto sijaitsee melkein historian ja etnologian laitoksen naapurissa. There is a growing number of various ethnic groups in Finland. The attitudes and categorizations that host country nationals have and make regarding migrants is frequently researched. The attitudes that migrants have towards other migrants has, however, been much less researched. This paper provides an in-depth analysis that considers what factors are behind the attitudes that migrants form of other migrants and how these impact categorizations and hierarchies. The empirical research material of this study is based on 77 qualitative interviews with migrants living in Finland, carried out in 2018–2019. Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most frequent neurodegenerative disease. It is characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra and the formation of large aggregates in the survival neurons called Lewy bodies, which mainly contain α-synuclein (α-syn). The cause of cell death is not known but could be due to mitochondrial dysfunction, protein homeostasis failure, and alterations in the secretory/endolysosomal/autophagic pathways.
