Non-Model Based Method for an Automation of 3D Acquisition and Post-Processing

Most of the automation for 3D acquisition concerns objects with simple shape, like mechanical parts. For cultural heritage artefacts, the process is more complex, and it doesn't exist general solution nowadays. This paper presents a method to generate a complete 3D model of cultural heritage artefacts. In a first step, MVC is used to solve the view planning problem. Then, holes remaining in 3D model are detected, and their features are calculated to finish acquisition. Different post-processing are applied on each view to increase quality of the 3D model. This procedure has been tested with simulated scanner, before being implemented on a motion system with five degrees of freedom.

Part 14: Current Issues; International audience; Despite the advancement of more integrated land information systems (LIS), conflicts and disputes over land in Indonesia remain. Our study seeks to explain this situation. Using an interpretive case study conducted in Eastern Indonesia and framed within the concepts of information system (IS) artefacts, we find that tensions within and between information, technology, and social artefacts help to explain the sub-optimal LIS impacts. Inconsistent information, unsuitable technology, and conflicting social arrangements are examples of such tensions. TMS-evoked long-lasting artefacts: A new adaptive algorithm for EEG signal correction

Abstract Objective During EEG the discharge of TMS generates a long-lasting decay artefact (DA) that makes the analysis of TMS-evoked potentials (TEPs) difficult. Our aim was twofold: (1) to describe how the DA affects the recorded EEG and (2) to develop a new adaptive detrend algorithm (ADA) able to correct the DA. Methods We performed two experiments testing 50 healthy volunteers. In experiment 1, we tested the efficacy of ADA by comparing it with two commonly-used independent component analysis (ICA) algorithms. Apresentam‑se os resultados preliminares da intervenção arqueológica realizada no Carrascal entre 2003 e 2005 em local implantado em encosta de declive suave do vale da ribeira de Barcarena (concelho de Oeiras, distrito de Lisboa) e a cerca de 3 km de distância da margem norte do estuário do Tejo, nas proximidades de enseada, formada no sopé da encosta, a qual proporcionava importante actividade recolectora, destacando‑se a ostra (Ostrea edulis).
