Jednopłatkowa zastawka aortalna (UAV) jest rzadką wrodzoną wadą zastawki aortalnej. Przegląd literatury sugeruje, że szacowana częstość jej występowania wynosi 0,02%. W artykule przedstawiono przypadek 40-letniego pacjenta z UAV z ciężką stenozą. Etiologia jednopłatkowej zastawki aortalnej jest najczęściej wrodzona, jednak w opisanym przypadku rozpatruje się ją na dwóch możliwych podłożach — jako wadę wrodzoną o podtypie slit-shaped unicomissural lub jako wadę nabytą o degeneracyjnej postaci zwężenia zastawki. Case-based portraits of contrasting micro-interaction processes during online assessment of collaborative problem solving

This study recognizes the role and the quality of social aspects in collaborative problem solving (CPS) processes and outcomes. The aim of this study, relying on multiple data and phases of analysis, is to explore and visualise, through contrasting case-based portraits, how micro-interaction processes at pair level evolve during CPS assessments in an online environment. The assessment is designed for a student pair in the STEM domain. The results show that in despite students’ similar CPS performance scores, variations in micro-interactions occurred across pairs. This research examines why and how consumers switch their mobile phones. We propose a framework that is grounded on decision-making and motivational theories and draws on the findings from a multinational qualitative survey on consumers’ mobile phone switching process. We show that consumers’ pre-switching decisions are affected by push and pull factors, their mobile phone selections are based on utilitarian or hedonic values, and their justifications for switching are based on cognition or affect. Influence of Offline Activities and Customer Value Creation on Online Travel Community Continuance Usage Intention

The purpose of this study is to empirically test a model that examines the roles of offline activities and customer value creation on tourists’ continuance use of online travel communities (OTCs). Hypotheses were tested through a sample of 251 respondents on Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk). SmartPLS structural equation modelling was used to test the structural model. Results indicated that offline activities significantly influence hedonic and social values, while this support was not found with functional value.
