VAR modeļu un kointegrācijas analīzes pielietojums zelta cenas analīzē

Darbs tiek veltīts kointegrācijai un kļūdas korekcijas modelim. Darbā dots ieskats par vienības saknes testiem, vektoru autoregresijas vienādojumiem, kointegrāciju, kļūdu korekciju modeļiem. Metodes tika pielietotas pētot sakarības starp tādiem valūtu pāriem kā zelts pret ASV dolāru (XAU/USD) un Šveices franks pret ASV dolāru (CHF/USD). Ar Engla-Greinžera un Johansena metodēm parādīts, ka periodā no 2011. gada maija līdz 2016. gada decembrim pastāv kointegrācija starp iepriekš minētajiem instrumentiem.

The gendered effects of neoliberal economic restructuring around the world are usually studied in their most dramatic forms: cross-border migration, exploitation, resistance, and violence. This chapter examines significant transformations arising from economic restructuring in the nexus between gender, labour, and urban space — transformations in which mobile technologies are deeply implicated. It explores how mobile phones are used by the poor for day-to-day survival in Tanzania’s largest city. Apkopojot visas pētījumā gūtās atziņas, autore secina, ka Ekoskolas var būt veiksmīgas vides apziņas veicinātājas, ja skolotāji iesaistās vides problēmu integrācijā mācību saturā caur IIA pamatprincipiem un pamatkompetencēm.
BEHIND THE ATKINSON INDEX: MEASURING EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY IN HEALTH

This paper proposes a new approach to the measurement of equality of opportunity in health, based on the path independent Atkinson index of equality. The proposed decomposition is applied both to the ex-ante and the ex-post methodologies recently adopted by the literature. The approach is applied to the measurement of equality of opportunity in health using ten waves of the British Household Panel Survey. Results confirm that socioeconomic background is an important factor determining individual health in adulthood while the incidence of equality of opportunity is around one third of the overall equality according to a substantial stable pattern over years. In this article, we analyze the management and political implications of COVID-19 in two small countries located at the EU’s north-eastern border: Finland and Estonia. Culturally, ethnically, and linguistically, they share a common Finno-Ugrian identity. Politically, both are parliamentary republics run by coalition governments. They were among the first countries in Europe to reopen borders for travel in June 2020 after almost three months of lockdown. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp Facebook (FB) lietošanas intensitāti, atkarīgu vietnes lietošanu, atkarīgu pašcieņu un pašcieņas līmeni. Medikamentu pieprasījums un lietošanas apjoms palielinās ik gadu, pieaugot populācijai, dzīves līmenim un ekonomikai, īpaši jaunattīstības valstīs, kur biežāk arī ir novērota mazāk attīstīta atkritumu saimniekošana, tai skaitā medikamentu. Medikamenti ir mikro piesārņotāji, kas nonākot vidē spēj radīt manāmas sekas. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija apskatīt medikamentu nonākšanas veidus un sekas vidē, kā arī uzzināt Latvijas patērētāju paradumus un attieksmi pret nederīgu medikamentu pareizu atbrīvošanos. Iegūtie dati liecina, ka lielākajai daļai respondentu mājsaimniecībās atrodas neizlietoti, nederīgi medikamenti un visbiežāk no tiem izvēlas atbrīvoties izmantojot sadzīves atkritumus.

Šajā darbā tiek pētīta mijiedarbība starp atklātības un datu aizsardzības principiem un starp farmācijas uzņēmumiem, valsti un veselības aprūpes pārstāvjiem, pienākumi un leģitīmie mērķi attiecībā uz datu publiskošanu, lai nodrošinātu šīs sadarbības caurskatāmību.
