The soil science community needs to communicate about soils and the use of soil information to various audiences, especially to the general public and public authorities. In this global review article, we synthesis information pertaining to museums solely dedicated to soils or which contain a permanent exhibition on soils. We identified 38 soil museums specifically dedicated to soils, 34 permanent soil exhibitions, and 32 collections about soils that are accessible by appointment. The aim of the research was to find the justifications for children’s participation used by children and workers at World Vision Finland’s programs in Sri Lanka, the childhood images of the justificationsand thefactors influencing children’s attendance to children’s clubs. Ten children and ten adults were interviewed in 2015. From the data,14 justifications for participation were found through phenomenographic data analysis. The aim of this study is to analyze the resident’s perception about the cultural and sport impact of European Formula 1 Grand Prix. Cluster analysis was performed by combining hierarchical and non-hierarchical methods, which allowed us to differentiate three groups with different perceptions towards sporting event: Unfavorable, Moderate Unfavorable and Moderate Favorable. Most residents believe that this event has no significant impact to cultural and sporting level. Also, differences were found between the three groups of residents in the interest of Formula 1, the support for the event, attendance and the degree of identification.

Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan, miten moniammatilliset yhteistyötahot asemoidaan esi- ja perusopetuksessa laadituissa oppimisen ja koulunkäynnin tuen asiakirjoissa. Tutkimusaineisto koostui 114 oppimissuunnitelmasta ja henkilökohtaisesta opetuksen järjestämistä koskevasta suunnitelmasta (HOJKS), jotka analysoitiin diskurssianalyyttisesti. Tutkimustulokset osoittivat, että yhteistyötahot asemoitiin asiakirjoissa viiteen eri positioon: äänetön läsnäolija, täydentävä tuentarjoaja, asiantuntija, auktoriteetti ja kumppani. Erityisopetuksena tunnettu perusopetuksen keskeinen toimintamalli on ollut voimallisten muutosten kohteena 1990-luvun lopulta aina näihin päiviin saakka. Vuoden 1998 perusopetuslain myötä alkanut asteittaisten uudistusten sarja kulminoitui vuonna 2011 voimaan tulleisiin perusopetuslain muutoksiin ja oppimisen ja koulunkäynnin tuen järjestelmän toimeenpanoon. The present study examined the development of mathematics skills of Kosovar primary school children in terms of their gender, living area, socio-economic status, and achievement level. A special emphasis was placed on longitudinal investigations of the development of mathemat-ics skills in children with learning difficulties in mathematics over a 2-year and 4-month period. Participants were 553 fourth-graders, 85 of whom identified with mathematical learning difficulties were classified into two subgroups: children with low mathematics achievement and children with limited mathematics ability. Vanhempien osallisuuden kuvaukset perusopetuksen vuosiluokkien 1-6 oppimissuunnitelmissa ja HOJKS-asiakirjoissa

Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan vanhempien osallisuuden kuvauksia perusopetuksen vuosiluokilla 1-6 laadituissa oppimisen ja koulunkäynnin tuen asiakirjoissa. Tutkimusaineiston muodostivat 38 oppimissuunnitelmaa sekä 45 HOJKS-asiakirjaa, jotka analysoitiin sisällönanalyysilla. Teorialähtöisen sisällönanalyysin pohjana oli Epsteinin osallisuutta kuvastava kuusiportainen malli, jonka pohjalta tuotettiin kuva vanhemmuuden osallisuuden sisällöistä asiakirjoissa. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa eriteltiin, millaisia merkityksiä vanhemmuus sai kuhunkin osallisuuden ulottuvuuteen sisältyvissä lausumissa.
